The drillers are used to drilling through cement all day long. They will be studying the reservoir/ well to understand if it is feasible to drill through and then use fracking to stimulate. It isn't uncommon to abandon the well and drill a spare. All cost related.

I'm going to speculate that the feasibility study is more progressed than they are letting on. Why wait 18 month for a licence and spend 100's thousand on a application fee to decide it is not feasible.

I would argue financial restructuring is underway, possible JV, with feed study being executed to plan the mining operation, not feasibility to mine.

Dissappointed? This is the beginning.
