The kod website only references 97.2 square km, doe sthi smean we have another 90kmsq to explore + 200kmsq at Bougouni West (Out with Suay Chin offtake agreement)? This may explain selling Bougin West to KMUK to keep it out of the original agreement.

Hainan don't have the knowledge of the ground. KOD have been in Mali for a long time. A partnership seems the safest option until suitable resource has been identified to increase the longevity of the project.

KMUK has 1 share holder; Kodal Minerals PLC. If the deal falls through then the escrow $7m will go to KMUK. KMUK's major share holder can be loaned the amount. This secures Kodal PLC until the next deal.

All companies can fail at any point, look at the COPL struggles. Kodal have just agreed a massive JV, 1o days ago, and all the talk is of failure. Some people are never happy. The Hainan deal with ROC was much bigger and went through without issue.

I think both camps are more advanced than we think. KMUK was formed last year and Xinmao 3 weeks ago. Once the Malian and Chinese GOV approvals are in place I think progress will be accelerated, not to forget the DMS sign off.

I have spent the best part of 2 years checking this board most week days. Sometimes it can be mental torture, especially when there is news out there to be written up, I hope there is.

It certainly tests my patience.

There are no signatorie issues, only a flow of milestones to be ahcieved between now and the end of April. This is a Major Project that has formal processes to go through and finalise. Approx list below and I expect that there are many more deliverables to be achieved.
