the guy was CEO of one of the larget banks in the world, safe to say he will know a thing or two about the industry.

Can see more growth and revenue based on the next 2 things coming:
1) More video games adaptation and royalties
2) TV shows and films coming and royalties

the 2 main reasons why BooHoo revenue went up:

1) The highstreet being shut due to C19, meaning a large consumer move
2) alot of furlough workers, bored at home, self-soothing with retail therapy, looking at the government pay check as free money to spunk

So based on this:
1) the high street will now be very aggressive in targetting online
2) the furlough schemes are winding down and creating unemployment soon to come

you know ol Mr Green has money separate from Arcadia, and has some sweet connections in the clothing and retail world, so could set up shop with new things and have one last fight in the game.

I agree with you, the established brands F-ED up, and BooHoo has done very well.
I have repeatedly said I think BooHoo has done well.

my original statement, one that is very obvious, is that due to the high street getting F-ed this past year, they will focus on online, this is in direct competition with BooHoo.

why are so many people disbelieving in this? you think the highstreet retailers are going to lay down and die, no, they will fight, and claw, and use the same tactics that has harmed them.

hello @Mattyboy- fun fact about fashion and an even bigger fact about classic boohoo customers is that they are fickle.

the castle as been build on sand, the grains a composite of feckless absent-minded dullards that will move to different places to buy their (rather frankly) cheap knock-off clothing in a matter time.

@RishiSunak I've only just peeled myself out of bed, it was a late one with many punters having to wait for turns, but they are such a caring bunch of lads.

any, back on point, its simple market forces, the high street retailers where working on online focus, but now much like the rats in room 101 the fire has been lit and they will be clawing the face of boohoo to esacpe demise.

their core market will be long shelf goods: electronics, clothing, homeware etc....

maybe all these cheap natty clothing is lost on me. I am in the autumn of my life and like fine clothing, good wine, and solid share growth.

but my broader point that the clothing market will be looking at boohoo (especially the high street retailers) and looking at ways to take back as much pie as possible still stands. its very simple market forces.

its a bit like when apple came back in the early 2000s and every electronics manufacturer starter to release products with white or silver coverings.

if you scan through their linkedin and do some googling you can see these guys have long term relationships with a lot of hedge and investment funds, and well connected to tech start ups and good sized retailers.

once again very simple concept, they help reduce liability and keep cash in the company accounts, complete no brainer for a lot. and with banks being wary to lend, this is the perfect time.
