if they have get long term holding loan (maybe UK Gov) to hold off the wolves till summer 2021 then they will be in a better position

seems like a sensible tactic, onboard a major distributor and then leverage the loan facility to resellers

thats a lot of reasons for fashion retailers to doule down for quick wins by targetting the same market.

once again to my previous point, think of all the spare stock these fashion retailers have sat in shops and warehouse, they will looking to off load for at least 6 months to a year

why everyone fails when invading Russia:

@ShareExpert, you honestly think that the other fashion companies dont have massive digital teams. get real, they have also been playing the game.
Boohoo capitalised on: cheap clothing, fast copying of fads, low cost "influencers". this is easy to copy formula.

i still find it funny how some people fail to acknowledge there is competition.

one share im in is 7Digital, why, because they have limited competition for their space (digital music rights) and makes market gains easier.

will it rise again, most likely.
will it rise to great sustainable heights, not likely.

some basics:

Brand = their client base will have none, its cheap knock off clobber that is just desire hole filling.

The broader market = boohoo only represents a percentage of fashion buyers, and the segment will limited cash that will be greatly affected by the cash of the markets from Covid and Brexit.

their rivals = have a lot of stock sat in shops and warehouses that they will sell off at cost to avoid losses, as such the market will very soon get flooded with cheap alternatives.

the move of rivals into digital = very easy and cheap compared to a move in physical retail.

the clothing to utility period of fashion = we are in the winter season, the cost to make garments for this season is more expensive and labour intensive, with the market usually having fewer garments compared to the summer season.

Boohoo is not hegemony, they operate in a very competitive segment that has been beaten the past 6 months and will be looking to take whatever business is available.

@Peoplepower1, sorry but you are looking at the forest and cant see the woodworm eat away at the fabric of this company. the major share holders will start dumping over the going weeks to walk away with a massive profit, as they are not in the game to make cool clothing but to make money

@Peoplepower1 just as an FYI on trends for you. All the social media platforms have been on a journey the past few years to remove the power that "influencers" have and circle the advertising funds back into their pockets.

the update in Instagram with the shop button is the big horn of Gondor, signing the change of guard.

boohoo will have to play nice and spend big to be a factor in marketing, but guess what, all the other fashion houses for years have bult friends and spent money so they can flip switches and get high levels of engagement.

boohoo has too much toxic low cost fast fashion attachments for the major social media platforms to want too much integration.

@ShareExpert I can see the share price going to 380, ive been honest in my thoughts of consolidation and further price rise this year. the level of 400 which you and others have said, now i find that hard to see within the next year even with everything going well, as i believe the major holders will sell off shares to cash in their profits which will pin down the price.

but this is not a long term share, as the fundamental nature of how this company works with the market and pubic is toxic.

why, this company is toxic, it's a pump and dump fast-fashion company.

and as i previously said, all the other fashion retailers are coming for them, this is boohoo high point.

These guys have the rights to major labels for digital distribution.
and music digitally being distributed is a major way that music revenue is made.

as such these guys have the keys to the kingdom, and FYI the labels and artists are all desperate to make a lot of money in this new digital world that is being affected by Covid.

give this a couple of months and i can see big news coming out with partnerships.
