just need to wait a couple of days, look at the buying/selling cadence the past week, clear patterns formed.

no rush to buy, there are tons of companies out there, i would rather make a small profit than a big lose.

fomo is kicking and people that bought over 700 are topping up to average down. just need to wait a couple of days and will get the stock cheaper.

no one buys at the bottom or sells at the top, its a false dream of trading
all that matters is constantly making profit, hence why having a portfolio of different companies are you will win some and lose some, but on balance should be making profit margin over time

price consolidation is around 560, then need to stabilise for a few days

550 to 570 is my ideal buy in range. standing by until then, got a whole week of consolidation to go yet :)

At 600, once it breaks 595 auto sells will trigger and fast down to 570, then it will get extra pull from MM to 550

Got in at 400 out at 600. And have been saying since it started getting to 700's that it was on way to big drop and sell off.

Dark Trace are in a market with a lot of very powerful other companies, and as much as I can see potential, we can see this share was hyped up alot.

Wait a week for 550 and buy some then and forget about until end of year and sell when back to 700s.

Share has been way over bought and too many people are holding too much stock at a lower price with temptation to sell.

Potential for blood bath tomorrow as a rush to take profits kicks in. If you are up 30% on investment why wait.....

Be realistic, the price went from 350ish to 750ish over a couple of months, there will be lots of investors that are still sitting on profits over 50%, there is more incentive to sell now and walk away with profits to use on new IPO and other companies than to sit in Darktrace and hope for the 700s again.

mid week 550, then potentially back to 750 by November 2021
too many big security players now being very aggressive in locking down B2B contracts for the post covid WFH world, and Darktrace outreach and business development is slow compared to some players

can see the floor being 550 - log term players and MM want cheap entry
market players will drag this down and wait for people that made profit from getting in at 300 to 400 range to jump

can see a couple of those £1m and £3m orders that went through at the 480's region looking to pull while in massive profit.
this share has a long way potentially to drop before another major climb.
we've had the pump, now is the dump.

i would take caution with this mid day rise, this can be holders pumping the share to get out before it drops again.

bare in mind there are a lot of people with big profits on this share over the past week so the potential for it to drop is more than for it to rise, then the MM will kick in an drag this down to the 500's to pick up cheap shares.

if you have done well then consider your profit position.

so be warned, that its golden at the moment, but does not take much to push that domino very and the share price to tank fast

potential reasonable acquisition price: £5B?

Microsoft is a good shout for acquisition, their security is awful in the B2B market (where the real money is).

either way, it makes sense to try and buy up Dark trace within the next year, so that:
a) no one misses the boat with the mass road out of end user point to point security in the western world
b) before dark trace get too big and powerful

that's why i see Darktrace as a good acquisition target for Broadcom, back in the security to the embedded firmware to improve end point security.
the security market is the biggest growing segment, and WFH has increased the need with multi-site and multi-personnel monitoring

Can see broadcom looking to acquire darktrace in the near term before the price gets to high as a way to have product suits to leverage against crowdstrike and further consolidate their security market position
