Deloitte signed off on the accounting, they should be the first to be held accountable not ML.
Also HP failed in their due diligence on a multi billion $ deal, as such it would appear that they are going after ML due to their failures and shifting the blame.

It doesnt seem to add up why ML and the BoD would have committed the things that HP are saying they did. its way too big a risk to reward. I just think it boils down to HP being too bullish on AI as it was the hype of the day, and ML naturally selling because who wouldnt want a big payday.

The US courts are only going after ML as a soft target, because they cant go after the tech and banking crooks that run the US.

After reading the statement on the trial, appears that ML did nothing wrong, and the failure of accounting is on the heads of Deloitte and HP

at the moment this looks like a great buy for BlackRock.
they can buy up the whole company without breaking a sweat, then plug DT into all their clients and make the revenue streams go through the roof.
only take 1 big ii to see the potential and buy up everything before the price starts to move north again.
the great thing about digital business is that when they scale passed a certainly level the costs level off and the revenue and profits vastly increase.

For a tech stock they are doing everything right, if it wasn't for the ML issue this would still be riding high.

If they put £7b on the table, then I would be happy for DT to be acquired.

Contracts they are landing are big, and importantly opening gates to channel sales through partnerships, e.g their new telco and fund management clients.
Multi layered cyber protection in the new age of work from home and flexible locations is essential.
We are in a new disruption age of software companies being bought by the big old guard, so this could be a acquisition target which is a great day day.
Laws coming in with regards to data and client protection, meaning the investment to cyber security for businesses being more essential.
We're in the age of cyber war, 1/2 world war with bullets, cold war with propaganda and proxy, cyber war entwined with corporate espionage raging at this moment.
This moment stock markets and economies are heavily reliant on tech, as such protecting it is crucial.

the long term future looks good.
i think most will agree that the drop and cool off was needed, maybe the lack of communication from the company is spooking some investors.
however they have put out 2 RNS in the past few days of massive deals that also open the doors to lots of other opportunities which is exciting.

in the B2B IT world DT have a reputation of being a bit insular with their marketing out reach, however looking at the careers section they are looking to make a lot of hires, so maybe we are now at the end of the early post IPO period.

the price drop and sell off has been so extensive that is it a case that any real large sellers are dried up?

Sue there are IP holders, and some people that bought from IPO to July, but will they hold now as in profit so waiting to see how much more they can make?

And the ii that bought at 750, will they now aggressively buy up the market to average down?

Apart from the ML fiasco, this company is in a great position and making lots of revenue and growing.

I'll glad i;m holding, just wish I have bought in now and tucked away to make profit while i sleep.

The people that make Darktrace great are not the BOD, it's the engineering team.
We need to fire the BoD and sell the company to Microsoft or another big tech firm.
The BoD are looking like slobs and not worth the money, the product is great the BoD are meh

I just want them to fire the whole board and sell the company to Microsoft.

in light of the current share price, and will investors being conned into buying at placings the BoD needs to come out with a strong statement or vacate their positions.
