in the Aztec era it was blood, thats why gold had less worth than human sacrifice
in the 2000'sUSA it was weapons, that why so much money poured into "defence" spending
in the mid 2000's it was human digital networks, thats why social media got tons of investment
low in the late 2000's its individual social empowerment, thats why people spend so much on clothing, as they see a direct link between looking good and having a good life.
ASOS, BOOHOO, are in a very dominate position. As with limited international travel and limited "night life", people will be spending money on clothes to continue to push the narrative that they have great life's, via social platforms.
people under 40 are not going to M&S or the high street for clothing, they are going to Asos and Boohoo.
