May I point out that if the application was properly made and communicated to KNAC. Then the four months allowed for an objection to be lodged has long since passed.

Therefore under the legal framework the local government can go ahead with approval. Effectively, KNAC is assumed to be satisfied.

EH has great potential for the future. I am happy that expenditure is for now kept to a minimum.

Iron ore production has to be the main, if not the only focus for the immediate future.

The fact that KMAC have suspended thier activities for internal reasons should not alter the legislative structure in as much that the 4 month period can still lapse.

I agree that there is no need to worry, but progress would be nice :-)

May I draw your attention to the following salient passage

"The onus (responsibility) is still on the Native Title Party (KNAC) to
object against the application of the expedited procedure within a
period of 4 months from the notification day. If no objection is
received within the four (4) month statutory objection period, the
future act may be done (i.e. tenement may be granted)."

By implication, if the 'Notification day' was prior to Oct.2022 then the 4 month objection period has now lapsed.

Can you please confirm or otherwise if this is the case.

I shall email again with a more direct request for the ACTUAL date it was lodged.

I agree 944 but with one small caveat.

There is a clear lack of surity with regard to the submission date of 'application to mine etc'. I have e-mailed for clarification of this point.

It does not require an RNS, but an e-mail reply would put the matter to bed..

As you point out £500,000 of Rod's own money is a great confidence booster :-)
