My MARL shares are in an ISA so assume that if this goes ahead I would pay tax on any future Sandstorm shares I sold on NYSE. Is this correct?

They can check the share register. You won't get any info that's sensitive. I tend to send messages of support to PL and have always had a good dialogue.

I tend to agree. A news vacuum, general sentiment and relatively big moves of sp down with little volume is the sort of contrarian stock I like. Obviously if something big in terms of loss of reserves, debt issues or losses of cornerstone investor that's underpinning a drop then avoid but the converse is true IMO. Sure the BoD/TC are quiet (like it or not). any good news this will fly due to small free float and presence of LTH. I've added during the dip but if we do have a foray lower will probably watch and then add.

Wondered what people's thoughts are about the drill issues last year. In the broker note it's opaque and without trawlingthrough the RNS has anyone got any view on whether we have any redress on it. My general feeling is that PL will take them to task and wonder whether news silence is that something is being worked on in breakdown. I know if I contact him he'll play with a straight bat and not answer as suspect it's sensitive info.

Hi Investor. I'm in deep here too. In fact my original investment is greatest in this share than any other E and P but is currently smaller due to gains in SOU and FOG. My average 7.4 which is better than a few. PL has a lot at stake and as per Malcy podcast no one else is as driven. My correspondence with him has always been good and he has always responded directly. The market is pretty down on PPC right now but I remain positive despite the setbacks. Like Northern I'm mainly into the stock due to Paraguay upside but I buy into the Arg operations as solid base. If it all goes t*ts up then unlike most companies the CEO will suffer most

Its called dilution. unfortunately the unsuccessful drill and planned output increased didn't happen and they had to raise money. Both had a short and longer time effect in sp despite a more bullish oil price and general sentiment. Therefore we all loose out as more shares issued. That being said the major share holders including Peter Levine, IFC etc took part in it which is encouraging. Im lucky as have a average of 8p and have been in the stock for about 2 years. The research broker note is fairly balanced IMO and gives the risks pretty plainly. The priority is free cash flow in Argentina and then explore Paraguay which if successful will cause a massive re-rate with target sp 10 fold higher then where we are now. The CEO is a deal maker and I am interested that there is no info on reclaiming of costs of failed drill although we have formed alliances with other oil companies in Arg. I haven't added but may be tempted to in next couple of months and then sitting back and seeing what develops. That being said I am broadly optomistc and the CEO interests are aligned to ours its just taken longer than either he or we expected.

Have a feeling that Finland is underestimated. For those interested Mawson Resources are drilling in the north. Results expected March but could lead to major gold discovery. As always DYOR and RIP Ken.

Very welcome news today. Speaking to LM last year and it's a balance between growing your asset base and becoming more attractive to institutional investors. The former is what any take over would define as a fair buyout whilst the later will I hope limit sellers. The CPO price strengthening the denomination in euro etc etc. Hopefully a liquidity event in next year or 2. I don't trade this share try and top on dips. DYOR

Out at 5.5. This was my buy price. Took risk that this is a P and D so relieved that not lost anything and considering I was sitting on a huge loss at one point. Of course could be wrong and something incredible is round the corner for those who have more patience than I. Good luck all

Great post Victor. Much appreciated the report back. Similar sentiment to my correspondence with PL. Patience is key. Remember PoO gains not a squeak for the sp. We are half the value we're just few months ago. OK drill a disaster. Still a suspect time to add q1 2017 then sit back.. at least that's my plan.

Brasso. I'm genuinely very sympathetic. Anyone invested before the oil crash has been through it. Id be very angry if we have to go to the market for more. It's high risk high reward and the rise before drill result shows it. Shame we can't claim 4 million from there failed drill. I'll be adding but if the well work overs fail then I'll sell my holding. 2017 is a crucial year.

Hi Northern. I think you are spot on. A failed drill and the share price craters. I suspect a fund raise was always on the cards but at a much higher share price. It's a long game and I will likely add more on these dips. All I expect is CEO to participate and his interests are aligned with ours. He's done this and do have our ii. It's been a bit of a circuitous route. However I think we are going places and there is no better deal breaker and he's been there and done that. It will take time but he will keep fighting and was reassured after discussion via email tonight. Of course DYOR and full disclosure I am a LTH of which PPC is now my largest initial investment with avv 8.1p. albeit I own a number shares oil gold uranium see posting history

You can blame me for my comment about it being too quiet... Now we raise money at half the price of a few months ago..not best pleased. A broadly positive spin from Malcy and fair play PL has increased his commitment and other institutions as well. I'd like to see an update from the Man himself in near future
