Target practice over?6 Nov 2018 08:53
I think £5 short term may be more realistic, the damage has been done and it was as high as a kite anyway.
Agree Deepjoy, good to see a contrite and straight talking message, a lot of billy has been said - I still think longer term this can operate and grow like a flooring equivalent to James Fishers (£1.40 to £18 over 15 yrs) marine approach using a policy of collecting businesses that can continue to operate standing alone, but with a central overall control. Especially where there is very little overlap, rather than just buying the opposition.
They have been integrating the group with the distribution in uk and consolidating in Aus, but I would be much more worried if they started trying to integrate every facet of each business - that's where many acquisitions go wrong. Down from cloud 9, but hopefully a gradual rise from here - at the end of the day it was still £1.20 not that long ago.
