Emmerson (LON: EML) is hopeful that it will receive the environmental permit for the Khemisset potash project in Morocco before the end of the year. There will also be the release of lab results from the second round of crop trials that examine the effectiveness of the potash providing phosphate to lettuces. Emmerson currently has $1.7m in cash. This should last well into 2025.

Clearly the London offices are busy buying but afernoon trades are higher. I'm looking for more buying this afternoon. The question is who are Schroders acting for?

Ended the day a touch under 80p the price on this site is incorrect. Lots of AMerica buying this afternoon. Are we about to see a new bis for around 100p?

Everything I read about Currys points to it being way too cheap. My guess is that somone will jump in and offer 99-100p thus keeping any other bidder out in the cold or prepared to pay the true value. though 135p has room for manoevre.

At present there are several reasons for positive posters to be attacked.

1) Some people have shorted the shares and see going after the positive posters as a target to get the SP down so they can buy.

2)There are some nutters with no knowledge but just like to annoy and cost people money.

3) Then there is Russia . If they can knock the the SP it reduces rhe money RR etc can raise etc. I know of at least one attack which took tme to sort.

If the 380 does return I believe it will be a stretch version . The wing is large enough to support the stretch so the cost won't be too great and 100 extra passengers will make it very profitible. Especially with Ultra fan modded RR trents.

Emirates expected to have the A380's for about 10 -12 years by which time there would be a better version and they like having a young fleet. So they leased the A380's. Now though they will need to make them last longer and purchasing makes more sense. The youngest ones with the RR engines will be the main focus here. Meanwhile Airbus is seriously considering restarting the production line because airports are becoming very tight for slots.

This is huge news. When the first T1000 engines were returned from ANA the view was that the problem would be sorted and then you have 40 odd years of success

Sadly it has taken a little longer and cost a bit more to solve. Now though it can join the XWB and be a profit driver in a quickly growing RR.

Moly I said £12 by end of this year.

I'm a little disillusioned by the low expectation for some here. £5 by next year? Heck we've just had amazing results. We now have a totally different company to the one which went into the lockdown. Every aspect of the company has been truned into a profit producer rather than a loss leader. Its market is now larger with bums on seats and airlines charging higher prices while scrambling to order new jets. Then there is SMR an almost limitless future product. Suddenly RR has confidence in itself and with world leading technology is going it alone to build new engines for the massive narrow body market! £5??? Not a hope. I see a far brighter future and can see £20+ by the end of next year. I also see a share split which often helps an SP. RR is not what it was. Its different.

All I shall say is that buying is the easy part. When it comes to sellingits suddenly very hard. Friends have asked for tips and having given them a share I might suggest selling after a month or two. But here's the thing they hold on tight expecting more. When they start to lose money suddenly they blame me!

Should make the £800m debt cheaper to borrow and save about £10m. SHould also encourage a few more insti investors.

Mind you I hope to see all borrowing repaid in the next accounts.
