Lots of ne names on here today. Strange why they post so negatively

That's a hundred engines thats $2-3BN order and the RR S doesn't budge?

It is and it isn't. There will be scepticism as to the veracity of the leak so the SP is a little lower than it should be for that figure. But really you are not looking at the big picture. Its not so much about the profits from the past year its abut the future. That is why the SP will jump, if the future looks brght.Orders,single aisle jets, free cashflow, debt paydown, dividends, etc etc . Thats the 50p a share bonus come Thursday.

At this stage in the game the size of the dividend isn't important. Its that one wil sart to be paid which counts.The bankers lent RR money and they have a veto on if a divi can be paid at all. RR though have been paying down the debt and we are hoping the banks are happy.

What happens next is that funds and pensions which are limited to invest in companies that pay interest will each want a weighting in RR commensurate to its mkt cap. Its almost going to be like a short squeeze but better and 400p can be quickly reached. GLA!.

We just need a broker to say 400p now

Aeroflot and several Russian airlines simply stole the aircraft from the leasing companies.The Operating and Maintenance Manuals (OMM)were withdrawn from Russsia so they have no access to the updates. No software updates and there has been at least one MOD for the A320 which russia can't do. The OMMs are all internet based to ensure the latest updates

The most affected airline is FINNAIR , which takes an extra extra two hours to the far east.dont forget though that we lost a few aircraft to Aeroflot.

Hope everyone has topped up ready for the week ahead? Three days trading should see an uplift to 340p and hopefully RR have a few news stories lined up.

RR has tripled but this year it will double and more.

I'm now wondering if I've been too light on this years prediction? We could with a good wind hit £10 but we need lots of Ducks to line up.

1) Good flying hours over the last quarter

2) Dividend announcement

3) An order for SMR from the government

4) An SMR order from a foreign country

5) Continued flying hours increase

6) Thai finally buys the Trent XWB ( FAILED)

7) We sell the flying taxi

8) We pay down the debt by about £1Bn or more

9) We announce a joint partner in the single Aisle engine market

10)We receive a few more great orders

For the past week the shorters have had this with a few negative stories etc in the press about SMR probably planted. Today looks as though they have been squeezed.

Someone trying to present it as bad news perhaps for their shorting friends? I've always expected Westinghouse to reach the next phase.

I'm not really believing this. wasn;t one of the recent pull outs in Teeside having just bought a site? It sounds fishy to me

Pretty much every broker has said over 400p Yet we sat at 300p for much of January. Consolidation is good but dont talk the SP down we could soon be at 375p nad 400p after results and broker upgrades.

He then holds on to the good companies .

There are ineed many more shares in the market than when the SP reached 1200 and over. I doubt we shall reach those highs for a few years now.What matters is how RR grows and builds the EPS etc.If we start to churn out SMRs then who knows where we shall be. The next Nvidia?

MF has a fascination with RR Probably because they've got it so wrong over the past year. They've also got it wrong this time. You all know my prediction when I got the end of year number right. I was the first to say 700p but then wrote about what will happen this year and came up with the 1000p instead.Nothing has changed since then. We are on target to 1000p.
