I half-understand your frustration Realist, but I disagree with nearly all of your conclusions, most particularly your suggestion that "Covid won't be around forever". The thing is, Covid, or something like it, will be around for ever - or at least for our investing lifetimes. The pandemic has graphically reminded the world what until the 1960s every previous human generation had understood (and which three quarters of the world's population still daily understands) - that economies and societies can be undone at a stroke by infectious disease. As Cathal Friel rightly asserts, we are inevitably entering a decade or more of intense interest in vaccination and virology and rare diseases - long neglected by big pharma - as a fundamental growth industry. Imho this now profitable small company is a grossly undervalued player in that.

One month, two months, three months this will look like a silly MCAP and SP. Anything under 30 remains a stellar entry point. Fortune as ever favours the (slightly) patient.

Hi LWL, HVivo has 25 or more years worth of unique data from human challenge studies into disease progression, particularly influenza and various cold/covid/respiratory illnesses - monitoring temp change, heart rate etc which could be invaluable to wearables companies looking for greater accuracy in health monitoring and virus detection.

CF did talk about the CHIMagent option being a simple formality in at least one of the pre-Xmas interviews, and made it clear there was no significance in its not having been adopted. Meanwhile in his many media appearances Wildfire is clearly described as an Hvivo employee.

I don't think we will get very far into the new year without one of two things happening: a fundamental and sustained upward correction in value - by any reasonable analysis this should be on the way to being a FTSE250 company in its own right - or a takeover bid. The only things that Neil Woodford got wrong with his big investment in Hvivo were bad timing and hopeless management. Quite the opposite now applies in both cases. Happy 2021!

We will be earning £40m from the govt CHIM contract alone. That is a small fraction of the revenue for 2021.
