What's the point in moaning about shorting? You're not going to stop it and neither are the FCA because they're clearly in the investment firms' back pocket. The entire financial services industry is corrupt, in case you hadn't noticed. The only thing that stops shorting is serious positive news flow of the kind that generates income, not empty promises. None of us have control over news flow, we don't work for BMN.
The only way an investor wins is to buy in very early to great company that realises it's strategy and potential. BMN is slowly doing that, but nothing is guaranteed. Hold, buy or sell, your choice - don't listen to rampers, don't be deflected by derampers.
BMN has 24 months to deliver on everything it said it would. According to the AGM, approval of the directors' remuneration was a close run thing, demonstrating that shareholders are running out of patience. I'm sure they're well aware of that. Deliver or goodbye - someone else can take their job and try and make a proper fist of running the company.
Hopefully that won't be necessary, but people should not be paid a fortune for delivering nothing to investors.
