Fatman agreed. It is impossible for us to really know. However, to me, it was reassuring to hear him say that he expects the valuation to be more than £50m. An aim company in online games is Gaming Realms. I recall that Leap was growing more quickly than them in 2020 (Rns June 2020), and both companies spoke of both being near to turning a profit at the end of 2020 (Though neither have).
From Linked In, I see that Leap is consistently taking on more staff, with numbers increasing 20% over the last 6 months to 42. But Gaming Realms, with a headcount of 34, reduced staff numbers by 11% over the last 6 months. I do appreciate that not all staff will be on Linked In, and also that they are not direct competitors, but I think it is a useful indicator.
Gaming Realms are valued now at £108m. If Leap can reach a value of £50m, I will be delighted, but hope it may be more.
