RTAYYA...you make some very interesting points...I was with a CEO recently and when I asked why the sp had tanked so much, he looked perturbed, saying the that the news he had delivered to the market was very good, but believed that the sp had been manipulated by the mms downwards. You are right about understanding the rules of investing (are they written down anywhere?), as, like a plonker I used to buy on spikes, thinking that there must have been such ground breaking news to be released, the sp could only double from my entry price- that has still cost me!! Now, as you say, it is about determining when a share is very low, but with great upside potential. But, why did you loose so much on RGM?

I know this has nothing to do with anything, but was at my local store last night at 7pm (OK just prior to the footy). It was deserted! The special offer pricing was all over the place too. It won't deter me from shopping again...but just an observation.

Could have sold at 7...a few seconds later could have bought at 6.5!!! Interesting; enjoy the play!

I agree with your sentiment here...funny how you can walk into branches of Jessops and HMV (zum beispiel) which cost their shareholders all teir holdings in that company.

Graham Thanks for the analysis; so they sell before they buy and assuming the sp goes down, pocket the difference in the two costs attributed to that trade?

If you have a few spare pounds available, look at AFPO; they may do a bit better than the 17% target you have on ESUR.
