I think im still confused on what the MHRA approval is for - so its not HOME use?
Its use by non professionals at perhaps mass test centres?
So MRHA approval is still "A thing"?

So the pfizer vaccine is thought to be around 90% effective. But its a difficult one to store and transport. This is a high effectiveness so its likely that the vaccine rolled out could be less effective and i think acceptable was around 60%
Either way lets go with 90%
Would you want to be the 10% where it didnt work and to have no idea - sounds like Russian Roulette to me. And as I say that 10% could be a larger number with other vaccines
SO - Testing for Antibodies in everyone is vital as is ongoing testing to know when a top up / booster is required
Any thought on this from anyone/
Also antigen testing will probably be ongoing for a couple of years - so bring it on Mologic
And lastly Mologic triple antibody LFT - could this one be used for home use or to see who has been previously infected?

Maybe MRHA is to get past the use by professional - Not for Home Use - but so a non professional (say soldier) can use it in a mass testing setting

Is are other Mologic LFT test more suitable ofr testing who had Covid and or is it better for mass use by the public - or do we think they are all best used by (if not a professional ) a competent person

Maybe one of my misunderstanding has been that i thought MRHA would open up "amazon" but maybe its just so it can be used by a non professional - i.e the Army - in mass testing settings

looks like this wont go for home testing so feel a little missled there with the MRHA thing that was obviously never intended.
The size of the market is still huge if this does indeed accompany vaccination and ongoing testing to check how long it lasts - more so as i imagine the vaccine will last for different lengths in different people
And as pointed oput earlier (and by CK on a few occassions) we will move capacity requirements depending on need - and we are only contracted to 200K per week for this one

So the UK government being proactive in the face of the pandemic and working with the best in the UK private sector is a bad thing - who else could support the government and develop and manufacture the best tests
This is so political its a disgrace.
If they do nothing they are wrong - if they do something they are wrong

Anyone tearing apart tests for political reasons should be severely ashamed and should shoulder blame for infections, hospitalizations and death.
Testing is without doubt one of the key ways to fight this virus and to bring confidence back to the population and in consequence the economy

True - if they do intend to float - the last thing they want is this as a reputation

The problem is Covid has become a bug political hammer and Governments and opposition parties (and their dogs the media) use it for their own advantage at every opportunity

But we are contracted to abingdon to manufacture up to 200K per week - that said we have plenty of capacity to make other products and if there are not orders to manufacture then that capacity is also available for other things
