Yup - lab tests are great but you cant open up the economy and the world in general using expensive slow and resource hungry lab tests. LFT may not be as accurate - and yes the bad ones give them a bad name - but good ones are good enough - cheap and quick.
PCR tests will soon be the exception and LF|Ts the vast majority

Just on the news - article talking of rapid tests to allow care homes to open up - he was stating that LFT is not accurate and not as good as PCR.

From the response i had from Paul at Walbrook on Friday - MRHA approval is indeed still live it as you so it wont be for it to be sold through retail outlets it will be to allow home testing to test vaccine have worked - not for general testing aka - have you had it

I think (from conversations ive had with Walbrook) The home use approval (MRHA) wont be for home use generated by Amazon or Boots etc but will be home use required as part of vacination timescale to antibodies. And will be even more important to identify those where the vaccine hasnt worked so other methods can be followed. Therefore not leading to Russian Roulette.
There will also (i think) be regular home use to find vaccine lifespan which is likely to differ from person to person so boosters can be utilised to remain effective

Agreed as long as we keep getting this message out that this is a covid test that supports a vaccine.

Although i think what you say is true Regulator - part of the job of the CEO is communication - there are probably 10 questions at most being asked on this BB in numerous different ways. A simple Investor update and Q&A responding to the concerns would save an awful lot of angst on this site and save dealing with numerous emails answering similar questions - it MAY also help the SP.
At a guess id say doing this once correctly would take an hour or so - perhaps time well spent?
