The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode with London Stock Exchange Group's Chris Mayo has just been released. Listen here.
I was basing my earlier comments on a quick look back to 2023 when the full results were published on 26th July before a Q+A session on 1st August. I'm not expecting the full results to be released in the next week or so but I do think they'll announce something otherwise why have the Q+A now
I'm not so sure Colour, he did last year
I'd be surprised if they go into the presentation without at least confirming the full year revenue figure, I don't think the "revenue expected to materially exceed market expectations" will be good enough. Which I suppose means an RNS between now and next Friday
It feels like the SP is being held back for whatever reason, I bought a lot of shares a week or so ago and the SP didn't budge
I expect CC have been given some sort of encouragement to set up there but regardless, I view this as a very positive move and a necessary one if they are serious about doing business in that region
Maybe the best statement would be some decent Director buys, not at a discount in the midst of a fundraise, but at the same prices us lot have to pay
Thanks Colour, I'm well aware of tonyj's track record when it comes to predictions but I'm not here to highlight his or anyone else's previous statements, I'm just interested in looking forward and following up on his post from last week, I'm would like to know when he thinks we 'll get to the 40-50p level he mentioned
How long do you think it will be before the SP reaches 50p tonyj ?
I don't quite understand why the 0.3m units delivered since 10 Oct should significantly add to H2 2024 revenue, were these not in the 2024 projections anyway ?
I understand that LTI, all I want to know is whether CC are supplying cellular hubs and smart meters or just cellular hubs. The fact that there is no mention of Omnimesh on this occasion (other than in the reference to the previous order) suggests to me it's just the cellular hubs, in which case some of the estimated order valuations posted this morning are irrelevant
No problem LTI, I only mentioned it because it was a relevant word
Sorry to question some of the estimated valuations being mentioned here but when I first read the RNS, I got the impression CC were just supplying cellular hubs and someone else was supplying the meters. nb it does mention smart water meters in the RNS
As I said, wish they could be clearer with the communication
Thanks Rup, but something doesn't quite stack up if it says "delivery of the first 7000...." it suggests to me that there are more than 7000
I don't understand why the company can't be more clear with their communication
I think you missed the word "first" out, LTI
Can anyone tell me how many cellular hubs are needed to connect 1.41m devices ?
Thanks LTI, however there are too many administration issues for my liking
Significant and subtle maybe, I just wish they'd concentrate on accurate and timely.
No worries Tony, it keeps me entertained
Must be the thing to do, put 3 messages out when one will do :)
Hi Tony, I'd be surprised if we see 30p by Friday but I do think it's a possibility by the end of March, certainly more likely in my opinion than the 50p you mentioned last week. Cyan are yet to prove they make a profit and until they do, I think we might continue to be a bit underwhelmed by the SP
Looking good this morning, maybe some of your predictions will be proven right after all Tony
Will be interesting to see if S.Chari has bought more
