Although it looks like the approval is already there to administer to non-hospitalised patients, I would think that if they had started in care homes then it would be news worth sharing, by both RM and the Government. The latter will be feeling huge pressure at the minute to get something into care homes.
Its interesting that Synairgen are seemingly not in the picture for ACCORD. I wonder does that go back to RM's commitment that running their own trials is still the quickest way to market. I also suspect the financial benefit of continuing with their own trials would be better.
This Bemcentinib is now 4 weeks behind SNG as it is only entering stage 2 trials. It is also administered orally in tablet form so if both drugs are successful, there will likely be plenty of market share for each of them.
