Tattyhead, SNG001 is a formulation comprised of Interferon Beta 1A, not 1B.

It's not just as easy as other companies making their own formulation using Interferon Beta 1A if SNG001 works. Its patent protected for the use of Inhaled INF-B1A (and Lamba) in a formulation to treat Asthma, Rhinovirus, COPD and COVID-19.

Yes INF Beta 1A is generic but using it for a inhaled therapy in treating respiratory diseases is not. Good luck to anyone trying to use it once SNG sign up with a large pharma co,.

Hi John, (lots of green boxes on this thread but i'll have a go); Extavia is INF 1B as opposed to 1A and will also not have the advantage of years of development that's went into SNG001. Development aimed at making it more suitable for direct application in the lungs (SNG001 is PH neutral etc).They're simply adding water to extavia and nebulising it. Of course it may work but patients are not realistically going to make the mix up themselves at home. Its unlikely physicians will.

The £2000 was for the UK benefit and as RM said, each country has a different health system. Therefore the price may vary from country to country. He also said it needs to represent value for money so the price may also vary from hospital to home.

Regardless, were potentially only a few weeks or months from having fully licenced drug that treats a virus in both the hospital and the home, during a pandemic. The true value of that is unfathomable.

Plan A is to deliver results in Q2 but that doesn't rule out agency intervention with an EUA. Nothing new there really but his interviews are always reassuring.

Scinv, you're actually a green box for me and its interesting that i knew exactly which poster to unfilter. I didn't say that Fauci shared an opinion on SNG001.

Actions speak louder than words. Fauci/NIAID/NIH/OWS have endorsed SNG001 by backing its development. The full details of that are yet to come but its a statement of intent.

They say opinions are like ********s, everyone has one, but that doesn't mean we all wanna see it.

Unlike the opinions of some posters on this board, however learned they may appear, the informed opinion of Fauci and other peers have meaningful consequences to this company. He and his colleagues at NIAID, alongside NIH and OWS, have taken the science on INF and the previous SNG001 results and have decided to run with the development of SNG001. The backing of Operation Warp Speed is a huge vote of confidence. The full impact of that decision has not been felt on the SP yet as they (NIH/OWS/Activ/Fauci) have not announced it.

By all means try to take in all views that this board offers but i would encourage anyone to truly research what Monday's RNS means for this company and the huge exposure that it is about to receive across the pond.

Hi Tim, the John Campbell video was never on the reddit page. Although a useful explanation (for the layman), he has never commented on the science since. Not after the lancet, not after the short ACE2 findings or any of the milestones that the company has achieved.

That was not the place to discuss price of treatment. No CEO of any biotech would start throwing numbers out there. Would be disingenuous. The question clearly through RM and put him on the defensive where he had to talk around it.

Hi Kevin, theyre just off market trades. Its like me selling you some of my SNG shares without going through the London stock exchange. There may therefore be differences in supply/demand on the OTC system that facilitates those transactions, particularly out of UK hours, which would drive fluctuations in price.

There is usually very low volume on those US OTC trades so not really worth paying much attention. Any major US players investing in Synairgen will have the means to buy directly on London stock exchange anyway.

Anything he shared was already in the public domain and was found through good research. Good research he was kind enough to share with us all.

You should give research a go sometime instead of spouting unsubstantiated nonsense on here.
