Thanks gizmo. When i found the trademark link earlier I had a quick look at her LI. She's linked to nearly 3500 TMs! Venable LLP are no small outfit either.
This is a big sign of where this company is going.

Thanks Blue, I had noted the 'Novacyt SA' company registry refers to the closed 'Novacyt' foreign reg.
As a company registered in France, NCYT had previously declared that they were not subject to the UK takeover code but French corporate law. Does this still apply?
In my mind, the whole point of the £3m 'profit warning' was to publicly note the further impact that the DHSCs behaviour is having on the company this year. That goes back to the dispute case for damages (if it comes to that) and if they now were to reiterate the 100m guidance they would undermine that particular message.
Fundamentally, 3m will not scratch the year end EBITDA anyway so the only reasonable explanation for announcing it was to score political/commercial points.

Thanks Exmex and K,
From what I can see, the now closed Novacyt company 2020 accounts were audited by Deloitte and the (exact same) Novacyt UK holdings 2020 accounts were audited by Constantin but that's not much of a surprise and shouldn't change as we nominated another 2nd auditor at the AGM.
Interestingly, Novacyt was registered as a foreign public company however thats now closed and Novacyt UK Holdings is registered as a UK Privately held company.
I'm not sure if this amounts to anything substantial tbh. Has anyone anything thoughts on why they would do this now? Novacyt UK holdings was incorporated in 2019.
Yes B2, I hesitated to share all of my findings on here but there were some interesting people watching the webinar. The company definitely has great reach.

I think housekeeping is probably the most logical explanation. The Novacyt UK Holdings companies house registry was recently updated for CEO and other nominated changes. The other one wasn't which suggested it was on the way out.
Hi B2, I seen dextercom had a sales rep at the webinar on Thursday. There were a few other distributors from Belgium, Germany, Malaysia, Japan and even an attendee from the Mexican health ministry.

Byp, you're calling these investigative journalists to look further into the ex-CEO of a company you're invested in but you hope they'll leave shareholders alone? As usual, you're letting emotion drive your comments and it's more likely to do harm than good.

The Oxford Immunotec acquisition is interesting. Went for something like 15x revenue IIRC. Though their TB test is fairly unique.
Also I think Janet Kidd also has a diploma in patent law so she could have been bright in for that aspect. Shes clearly been legal council during 2 takeovers in recent years and knows DA. Intriguing appointment.
