The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
Me too. Just took a starting position of 5000 shares at 26p
LS, I'd be careful claiming you've spoken with directors on a public forum. That's inside information and breaks trading rules. I asked Chris Hand on Linked in (on a public post) what happened to the Taiwan contract and received no reply (cry).
Ignore Newt he's been around these boards for ages with his slurps. Guy posts a lot but the price never hits his target so I don't believe he has ever bought a share in anything.
Like many of you I've been here since the placing. I've watched this share, like you all, do nothing except decline. I have tried to make some losses back selling pumps and reduced my overall loss by around 40% (I'm still around £6k down, although, made most of that back elsewhere). But, enough about me, something I've observed about Abingdon management is they rarely seem panicked or desperate (they leave desperation to the shareholders). I believe this is for two reasons, 1 good, 1 bad. Either they are confident 2023 will produce contracts and with them revenue or they have plans to take the company private at ATL's for their own benefit. Not ruling the possibility out of a TO with this MC but my gut tells me its the former. Taiwan didn't materialise but one such contract will see the SP more than double in a day. 2 or 3 similar contracts and this could be back to placing price or even IPO price depending on values. I've taken a much smaller position this time around so now happy to ride out 2023 as a holder... Watch this space!
I'm not surprised. This is perhaps the biggest microcap dog I've ever seen. It's a lottery ticket and guys have thrown everything at it like its a dead cert. All based on empty promises. As soon as I see sycophantic followings on a chat I stay well clear.
Seems like this dog has been trading mostly flat for months now, or at least between a minimal range. I'd like an entry below 4p and I'm in no rush. This has now become a binary play. In 2023, either they get contracts and become a solid investment or they go into administration and get bought with shareholders getting zero. Roll the dice time?
Just checked back to see this is on its knees. I'd love to be reading the telegram group comments now lol
Newt is a 15 year old trading his pocket money. Poor boy's going to get told off by his mum.
lol
Please don't phrase the Price of Gold as pog here. Brings back traumatic memories
Bloody hell Ray, how much did you buy. Deep pockets?
I think Taiwan deal might be dead. My wife lived 3 1/2 years in Taiwan and we have friends there. One imports PPE equipment from India to Taiwan. He said approval should've taken no longer than 3 months but he did say "under normal conditions". So can't be certain as they are still a bit covid crazy in Taiwan but the longer we go with no news the less likely it is
