No one knows why the BoD would buy. Many do this to prop up the stock in their own company (they are also invested). Keep in mind the Chris's pull-out substantial sums as income, so that can't be the only reason to buy. However, I am a buyer. I bought another 100,000 shares today @6.193. Why? Because we are long overdue news. We know the worst case scenario is over (The GLP case), and we know ABDX is solvent for 12 months. So we have much more time to generate contracts, some of which should materialise this month or next. Buy the dump, sell the pump!
What you've written is despicable Evanescent. Celebrating the death of young men, or anyone, on either side of this war shows you are a putrid person. We are here as investors, betting on the outcome of a war. What we do is morally questionable as it is, there is no need to drag your moral compass into the sewer and then pee on it. Shame on you!
Agreed! Given enough time they will generate revenue. If their cash burn is down to £500k a month they've got a whole year before they run into trouble. In that time frame we will definitely hear news on Vatic and Taiwan etc, plus how much Abingdon are generating through the website and other test sales. I'm happy I made a chunk back on the last pump so if we get confirmed revenue (which is entirely different to pumps on other news) I'll be happy to hold this time around. I'd like to see the SP in the 20's again
They have around £7m in cash so yes almost market cap. Although, they burn around £800k a month so come Feb/March with no revenue they start to look a bit crap. You'd think they'd have something up their sleeve by then wouldn't you?
Damage to Ukrainian infrastructure aside. This is still an excellent well-run company with no sanctions risk. Even if Russia take all of Ukraine the west won't sanction a Swiss company operating in occupied territory. Plus, regardless of where the border moves , lots of stell will be needed for the rebuild. Which makes FXPO a great hold for the next 3/5 years. SP £10 by 2025. You heard it here first :)
I took profit Friday, although, I'm still down big on ABDX. Like you I bought in the placing and again at 20p. Sold at 10p bought back at 6.5p sold again at 10p. In and out of this share more than any other. I have around £6k to claw back so sub 7p I'll buy in again and then hopefully they announce some real revenue
Another pump another dump. SP never holds its gains. Accumulate below 7p and sell the pumps if you want to make money on this stock. Rinse and repeat! Until the company posts an RNS confirming some actual revenue this won't ever make a sustainable move north
