Still enjoying some time off for me. Vast would be hard pushed not to have a much better 2021 haha.

Hope they announce it all, for you for hard VAST fans! Loads of copper, diamonds, a gold strike, huge profits, debt free, director buys, take over rumours, Chinese investors, institutional players involved haha.

This, in my humble opinion, is just a paper pushing delay with banks always being slow and home working covid restrictions adding to the timeline. I think the deal will land.
The price will jump about in the mean time but vast are close to finally being something of substance and I am not giving up my small holding here when they are this close.

If I was not in I would be buying at this price and stage.

Ant I think as long as you pay the listing fees, have a nomad and don’t break AIM rules or get investigated then the company remains listed.

If the price goes lower it goes lower, if it goes higher it goes higher this is supply and demand.

For them to take it private they need shareholder approval. The investors here are retail based no big instils ready to sway a vote. The offer for shares would have to be amazing to get approved. Can’t see them making an offer of that size, I mean what would you accept for your shares?

Not saying it is this reason for delay but two of my brokers are working from home and so are a lot of banking staff in general.

There are backlogs across lots of businesses but the banking sectors are especially hard hit. Take mortgages for instance, with staff working from kitchen tables. Santander customers must wait an average of 20 days while at NatWest it is 12 days. In normal times, banks have made these mortgage offers within seven days.

The above is just an example, I know we are not applying for a mortgage but what I am getting at is that there are plausible reasons why it is taking longer than ‘some’ expected. Before we start wetting the bed or coming up with conspiracy theories, the simplest answer is often the best.

Hi dangler2000, the yearly ISA limit is as you say but a transfer to an ISA can be of any size to the value of what is within your ISA wrapper. What I mean, is if you have had an ISA for the last 10 years and been filling it up then the amount you could transfer could be a whole lot bigger, about £160k for 10 years at a guess.
The shares are never actually transferred but istead are sold and bought back, there is usually a fee and as such the market makers will do it at as close to zero spread as possible.

Fair point Ant perhaps an exaggeration in terms of measurement. However the price did move slightly up and the ask increased.

Hi G_G_G, yes happy to share. Please be aware that these are my interpretation of the meeting and I was on my mobile and not note taking notes, but happy to be corrected if others were also in the meeting.

•Historic development cost update still expected this month and in the region of $20-$30m.
•In addition, CMEC will pay a fee for its share of the project upwards of 0.5 times the historical costs.
•Tariff submitted & waiting for approval hopefully January.
•Less ‘current’ interest in fossil fuel related projects from UK instil level investors
•The company will be actively seeking Chinese investment in 2021.
•Part or all of our 40% of the project could be sold at some point in the future.
•Explained the difference between developers premium, agreement, fee. (went over my head)
•The green side of the company is being underestimated and over looked in terms of prosperity and its ability to attract investment.
•NCCL is the favourite with little competition in Northern Mozambique and despite having taken a long time things should pick up pace now.
•The Company are aware that shareholders such as ourselves want regular updates and these meetings will be more frequent in digital and when safe in person.
