As said before the company is in a turnaround phase, those on the sidelines have the luxury of being able to see what happens before buying in. But I am holding and I think things are turning around, there is a risk I will end up with egg on my face but that is the risk I am taking.

Personally I thought that the results for the period were not bad considering but that is where we were. A lot has changed since then, the company is in much stronger position, so let's see what happens.

Sorry if that doesn't read well as sometimes my brain rushes faster than I can type and sometimes I just waffle nonsense.

Mismis I guess it depends how big your pot is, if you can only hold one trade at time then your logic makes sense. But if you have funds for multiple trades then why not take them when there is value and opportunity. I am holding a few a trades that are not likely to go up today or tomorrow. But buying them now means that when they do start to move, I will be well positioned.

traderjohn, with regard to news and trading, it is important to remember that traders look forward and anticipate the news. Often buying (or selling depending on market product) ahead of news and then when a news story breaks they use the liquidity of those that didn't foresee to sell into. Standard buy the rumour sell the fact if you will.

Sometimes good news will immediately drive the price forward and sometimes it will not. There is often a reaction to news and price immediately and then a digestive reaction afterwards once people have had time to digest the news. But in the end the market participants move the price to what we collectively think is a fair price. Often this price is also based on future value.

With regard to UJO, I believe the news is positive and there is likely to be a lot more positive news to come. I also think the price will most likely move higher. But today while people digest the news and UJO are we remain here. Some are unsure what happens next, some want a cheaper entry or are happy to pay more if it moves and remain on the side lines or in other shares for now. Some have been in for a while have been de-risking their positions a little which is fine as there has already been a rise and others are not in for the journey but for a smaller percentage climb.

This is all good in my view and if you think of yourself as liquidity provider rather than a trader you can see how those selling are allowing others a good entry price and those buy are allowing those that want out a good exit price it.

I could talk markets and trading for hours but also worth remembering that this is just my view and observations.

@Apd708 there does seem to be background buying or worked orders. I had no intention of selling but was just watching the amounts available on the ask. Retail traders often just smash orders at market rather than use limit fills or work positions so there was a level of skill in the market recently.

In addition to £72k buy today, we saw a 20 million go through in closing auction period yesterday and another 30 million buy popped up today too. This could be nothing of course but when I see larger delayed buys appearing and the market price not reacting but instead dipped and stable it implies to me that they are attracting liquidity and working orders.

But these are just my market observations and only time will tell what price does.

Thank you Morningsun. No argument from me, the history has been shocking, I acknowledge that and I am aware of it but it is the future that I am trading.

I also come across like I am convinced it will go up, I have no idea if it will or it will not. I trade based on how I see it at the time and I believe that currently the company is at a stage where there is a higher probability of a return for shareholders and I wanted exposure to copper but this is fine me and my level of risk. I am not here to convince others, I just steer my own ship.

My age, time in life, emotional make up, skillset, risk attitude and financial situation might be different to others and that is why it is important that people make their own choices.

I also do ask lots of questions and fired a load off to the company this morning. I guess I will see what happens but for now I remain happy to hold.

Looks like it took a breath and dipped back below .60 but the buy orders are back in and could push it higher on this second leg.

If this was not VAST then I would guess there are institutional level investors taking positions, as these 10 million trades and then last night a 20 million buy delayed print. And now someone buys 60 million.

Let it be a precursor to good news please.

Sharealot11 lot of love between the two companies, I suggest either selecting one or halving the risk between the two. I don't however suggest starting a debate on which is the better investment. Both have pros and cons and for what it is worth I hold both.

into the .60s hopefully.
