I get the point some of you make about not needing a placing previously and then raising but there are different forms of equity raise. A raise to keep the lights on is one thing but a raise which amplifies the assets and returns is extra value completely different. Bit like if Apple were based in my garage and made 25k a year, if they raised money for new equipment, new factories, etc, the rate of growth and profit would be much bigger.

Would you want a slice of the new apple or the old one?

This is not a lifestyle company, and the last interview confirmed no placing. You only have to look at the camera on David's laptop to know he is not frivolous with cash. In my view the price at UJO should be higher in anticipation.

That could be the reason, or it could be that with the cash in the bank and assets, Rbd is well positioned for huge uplift in price.

Now that the market has had time to digest the news and now we know that the company has not need to raise cash the price should be climbing.

Huge assets and huge potential.

I was referring to the Atlas shares, I have not looked at the volume since December.

But if I had to guess. Given that, often a chunk are forward sold and we saw a huge amount of selling on the finance news combined with the dip below the placing price placing price of 0.132p - I would imagine a lot have been churned but not all.

what do you think?

Yep, 323,880,177 to clear and vol for the day so far is 233,935,487 at this rate we might have shifted it before I finish my lunch..

With the forward selling and todays volume we have churned through a lot of stock today. Wonder if we will see a further move north once cleared.

They are reporting sales and production figures on a bi annual basis.

That is what trading is about, we buy now in anticipation of future profits, they are producing and selling copper. They get it out the ground cheap and the price and demand is increasing.

VAST already happy to see Silver moving up but If copper rallies next then we could be well and truly laughing.

Max and the gang will have to buy in at higher prices at this rate haha.

Mafuta, trust me the FCA has not investigated anything, ever.

Although I do hold VAST shares and see it as a company that is possibly/hopefully on the cusp of a turnaround. I think it is still high risk, the copper market continues to climb, and I see no reason for that demand to curb but VAST as a company still has a lot to do.

It is producing copper which is truly advantageous! But a lot of the money raises and shares issues have got it to this stage, have been at the detriment of existing long-term holders. So there are not many friends on the social side of things for VAST. I believe it is selling it at spot copper prices, but the details of the agreement are not in the public domain. Also, they are reporting the sales and production figures bi-annually which means we might have some waiting time to find out.

That being said they are producing and getting the copper out of the ground cheaply whilst at the same time have exposure to a stable full of other assets, including the diamonds which I am hopeful of hearing more about in the not too distant future. I think some of the assets should be trimmed down and focus concentrated and 100% need to have a better finance deal than the current situation with Atlas, admittedly they have cash via the last raise and cash coming in. I understand that they are working on the finance and that is why they chose to pay Atlas in shares rather than cash. The tier 1 bank had reservations not about the copper mine but imo, about some of the other asset locations. So we might see some ring-fencing or separation with regard to the other assets.

I would not put all your money in VAST or anything that you are not comfortable losing but as I hold stock it is hard for me to say don't invest at all but there are other safer companies. You should be aware of the atlas situation, the sentiment is low but IF it is the start of a turnaround then it could pay off handsomely but if not the dilution and raises will continue.

The Atlas shares I suspect were forward sold but they are due to hit the market Monday I believe. Lastly, I would say that it is always better to invest in your own findings rather than what I say or anyone else says but I wish you luck nice top slice!
