Of course I read the RNS. but I suspect we will still need funding for the rest of the year. I gave my opinion in relation to to a previous message. I don’t try to misinform anyone, no one will listen to me even if I did. Normally we do a cash raise for funding at the beginning of the year. This year might or might not be different but I just gave my opinion.

I don’t like the word ‘placing’ but I think there’s a good chance it will happen. If it was me, I would do the placing this week. The SP has gone up sharply recently and we will have some good news soon including drill permit (hopefully this week) and movement of the rig. So I can see in the next few weeks the placing will be forgotten quickly and we can move onwards and upwards.

Page 41 is an interesting read about polar bears and how we are working to reduce disturbing them in their natural habitat. I bet we have been talking to the BLM and the environmentalists.

As a guide, and this only gives a rough guide, last year on 21st January we got an RNS saying permits in relation to the drill are still on track. The planned spud date was mid/end February. Therefore I don’t think The permit this year is particularly late and hopefully we’ll get an update on operations this weekend.

The permit is not overdue. There was no official date for the permit to be issued. Look at PANR for example.

I can't believe we would get a permit to start the ice roads and not a permit to drill. Some seem to be overeating to the time it's taken for us to get the permit to drill. I'm expecting it to be given soon, but wouldn't be surprised if we get it a bit later.

I don’t like it but I think there might be a raise this month possibly. They have enough for this drill but they need money for this year’s expenses, etc. They have raised at this time of the year several times before.

Someone on the Stocktwits website says the Merlin-2 permit has vanished from the DOI/BLM website’s 30 day Federal Public Posting. Is this true and if it is does it mean an announcement is due any time.
