The year end financial results have just been published ... go take a look! AAAM are in a healthy state financially following on from the placing. [then add a stupidly large private placement,,,,,] The placing raised £11.3 million pounds and will be used for a feasibility study for New Liberty, to drill for a maiden resource estimate at the exciting Nkout iron ore prospect, and to drill and define a resource estimate at the Weaju gold prospect. The placement was at a tiny discount to the prevailing share price, and was oversubscribed. Directors bought hundreds of thousands of shares, and the funds will be used to add shareholder value through further progressing projects on the ground. [then offer absolutely no products in the foreseeable future,,,,,] 2012 is quite foreseeable. By that time, AAAM intend to be producing from the New Liberty project where a resource estimate is already in place for 1.4 million ounces of gold. Friday's SP held up very well to the profit taking. Do we expect to see another kick on here this week to somwhere a little closer to the 16p placing price?

The survey will identify and prioritise drilling targets in the company’s licences while 150 kilometres North West of Sundance Resources’ 2.5 billion tonne iron ore deposit of Mbalam. On the 22nd of February Stellar Diamonds commenced trading on AIM under the ticker symbol STEL. Post listing African Aura will hold 31.8% of Stellar after the company was completed a reverse takeover of West African Diamonds and placed 25 million shares to raise £5 million. Stellar is producing diamonds in Guinea from the Bomboko and Mandala alluvial mines, while Tongo and Kono in Sierra Leone and Droujba and Bouro in Guinea are kimberlite projects in development. An update on the company’s 100% owned New Liberty gold project in Liberia was released on the 18th of February. Initial drill results from the first 3,558 metres of the 10,000 metre drill programme were received together with confirmation of the commencement of a scoping study. Due to complete in April, the first 9 holes of the drill programme were highlighted by 16 metres at 4.17 g/t gold from a depth of 142 metres, 10 metres at 4.94 g/t from 379 metres and 8 metres at 4.42 g/t from 447 metres. It is hoped that the current drilling programme will expand upon the current NI43-101 compliant gold resource of 1.384 million ounces which bottomed out at 300 metres in depth. Results will feed into AMC Consultants’ scoping study en route to the project’s planned Bankable Feasibility Study. The Head of Strategy and Corporate Development at Severstal Resources, Boris Granovsky, joined African Aura’s board on the 20th of January. The appointment further solidifies ties between African Aura and Severstal who are partners in the Putu iron ore project in Liberia. Speculative buy with 316p target price.

Here today considering the Nectrus RNSs and share price action - bought in yesterday on the strength of the chart, looking good for a proper breakout, but then you never quite know with UCP. Looking fwd to next week.

Just plain undervalued this one - good comments on the advfn board - directors recently bought all the way up to 78p. Evolution Securities have a 'conservative' target for AAAM of 144p. GE&CR have a target of 321p News due on the New Liberty Gold project drilling and Putu Iron ore project. Been flying under the radar for a while IMO. We've had a few October RNSs about Nectrus buying, then a bit of quiet ... but noticeably of late, the selling pressure seems to be absent, and the SP has risen a bit. Any views??
