Multiple reasons to buy AAAM22 Apr 2010 22:52
peenuts ... Just saw your post from the other day, and felt compelled to respond ...
[First you take a company that owes hundreds of millions,,,,] - where on earth do you get that idea from? The year end financial results have just been published ... go take a look! AAAM are in a healthy state financially following on from the placing.
[then add a stupidly large private placement,,,,,]
The placing raised £11.3 million pounds and will be used for a feasibility study for New Liberty, to drill for a maiden resource estimate at the exciting Nkout iron ore prospect, and to drill and define a resource estimate at the Weaju gold prospect.
The placement was at a tiny discount to the prevailing share price, and was oversubscribed. Directors bought hundreds of thousands of shares, and the funds will be used to add shareholder value through further progressing projects on the ground.
[then offer absolutely no products in the foreseeable future,,,,,]
2012 is quite foreseeable. By that time, AAAM intend to be producing from the New Liberty project where a resource estimate is already in place for 1.4 million ounces of gold. Between now and the year's end, there's considerable value-enhancing newsflow to come:
PUTU - iron ore
Q2 2010: 60,000m drilling campaign commences
Q2 2010: metallurgical testwork results due in
H2 2010 Resource & metallurgical update
NKOUT - iron ore
Q2 2010 4,000 drilling campaign
H2 2010 inferred resource statement
??????? Identify and attract new JV partner
NEW LIBERTY - gold
Q1 2010 Complete 10,000m drilling
Q2 2010 Updated resource statement
Q3 2010 Scoping study
Q3 2010 Commence definitive feasibility study
2010/2011 Parallel 6,000m drill campaign
WEAJU - gold
Early 2010 - Drilling commences (expected to take 6 months or less)
This is why we see a much higher SP than pre-placing, when the SP rises were being constrained (IMO) by market knowledge of the placing to come. I'm very happily and heavily invested for the long term. Guido Pas (Director) has over 5 million shares, and just added another 500K+.
This post contains just my own views - do your own research etc. www.african-aura.com a good starting point.
