They would have been working that all day with the size of trade. Surely that would affect the price. A sell of that volume would have trashed the share price to under 20p surely?

That has to be a buy, the price would have been smashed down if that was a sell. Probably placed this morning knowing it would get filled with the panic sells.

Considering the carnage in the market this morning, i think we're holding up relatively well.
Regarding the new appointment, contacts are really important and this guy should have some to bring to the table. There we're many statements about can Bond close deals, but in reality it seems he's employing a team who can do that leaving the board members to deal with strategy.
Like him or not, Bond has effectively delivered a working commercial product from the ashes of Kore as well as an emerging product line.

We're in one of these situations where with the current financial uncertainty in the markets, holding cash is the safe option. Trouble is, if good news hits your priced out. The AGM is not too far away and they really need to have something good released by then or there will be some difficult questions.

I'm sure fuel companies like Shell and BP would like to miss ev charging and go straight to H2 as they can keep their monopoly on car fuels. The real advantage for me with EV is the ability to charge at home with solar. Won't work all year round but the vast majority of my short hops would be ok for much of the year.

Daz, the electrical supply in a building when constructed has to place an application for supply. There are two issues at work here. ! You pay more for a larger supply to be installed and 2 There supply company may reject it if you have oversized or the local network cant support it.
Just because 1 store has the chargers does not mean the other store can go hell yeah and connect them up. They would have to do a supply analysis of the current intake and if insufficient, apply for a new enlarged intake which would then be assessed based on the current demand and capability.
These chargers take a huge amount of power and when the cables are loaded more there is the additional problem of voltage drop. This is another area that both the supply and consumer network will need to be compliant.
Much of the network is old and every poor cable and joint will be stress tested and the supply companies will use ev charging to subsidise the replacement of outdated equipment.

And don't forget the backup power supply capability that could be offered to supermarkets. Power disruption would cost a lot if the fridge and freezers aren't powered.
Although they may just claim on insurance for that. Standby generation in large commercial building for fire fighting elevators and sprinkler pumps etc could also be integrated.

Maybe they thought the likes of Jim Ratcliffe would be a little more socially and environmentally minded....

As for the EV chargers, they have either been sold a pup by whoever they consulted with or they will sell the chargers. There is very little middle ground. AGM announcement by the month end?

MPO the tech bears to resemblance to where it is now in comparison. Also the H2 economy is the accepted future fuel now. Things have changes and the moons may well have aligned.

I'd like to hear more about Hiiroc and why they invested because there is little info in the public domain.

Daz the original Cloralk business model was competing against special deals for power that the large industrial users get which is significantly lower than what you and I pay at home. Yes the fuel H2 is/was vented. Gov need to stop this practise as it doesn't target high pollution emitters with a viable alternative.
E charge is different beast. Grid availability and charge prices not specifically competing with grid prices. I would charge at home with a pure ev but my work location would make a round trip improbable unless it was a Tesla or similar.

Companies regularly have loss leaders. They take a hit on one element of the business to profit at a higher level elsewhere. But I'm sure it will come down. Look what Ionity are charging.
