Can someone clarify for me the intent of the current drilling at Baggy Green please. Are we drilling to confirm what is believed to be there and to somewhat enhance the level of gold deposits?

Is the 2nd drilling phase in BG North and others the exploration that will truly move us towards 1m+ oz of gold?

Just wondering what to actually expect from the 1st set of drilling.

Do they really hold such huge cash levels? Seems extreme. But shareholder funds are c. 18bn I believe with 10bn of offsetting debt.

Any chance the study was prioritised due to potential Covid applications? Just musing...

Well that came as a shock. With the company flagging up transformational news in the pipeline then I'm wondering if it's a sale Dan was opposed to or a partner who feels they cant work with Dan.

On the flip side it may be the board lost confidence in his ability to close deals.

Either way we need some news flow and the sooner the better.

All he said on Q1 was he was hopeful. As we all are! Data being shared between both parties, which is normal for such trials.

The China situation is interesting tho. If we don't have the money then we have the data, which in my mind is worth far more that 2.5m. The results stated the trials were as effective as Mercks EMEND CINV therapy. That drug makes Merck $500+m in sales per year and their patent EXPIRES this year. So this is a new EMEND basically but with all.the parent protections. Now EMEND can now be copied but nonetheless, serious money to be made

These podcasts are a non event really, esp as Dr G will have learnt his lesson after the last series. They can't say anything that isn't out there otherwise they're into price sensitive info territory

In my mind #2 will be moving forward but who knows when it will be signed. All he said was that he was hopeful it would be Q1. What more can he say when it's not entirely in his control. But it will get done soon enough I believe.

Re: China, in my mind he didn't sound optimistic, but that's just my take. If they are dragging their feet on payment then they're in breach of contract and Dr G is probably pimping the data around other pharmas looking for interested parties so no payment isn't a huge issue for me.

As for naughty director dealings he prob can't say anything because the FCA may be investigating so any comment would see him fined too.

It's not like they're earning much on it. Put it to work I say.

The wife is in the pharma business and knows the jap marker well. They will snap up new tech if it speeds drugs to market and extends ageing patents. She says European majors just as likely to take an interest too. She manages global drugs trials and speeding up that process is v desirable.

But who knows. Either way this company will do us proud

Interestingly the kissei market cap is only about £1bn. Looking at that I thought there is no way they pay any sort of money for us, esp on their p/e of 30x.
But a 1/3 of their cap is held in cash and they need to invest that to boost their profitability. They could pick us up for £150m (30p) and barely touch their cash pile. If they believe our tech can boost profits relatively quickly then it's a possibility.
