Hunt will announce a series of tax measures that will hurt everyone and there will be no growth over the coming years. 2 years time Labour come into power and rob every company of profits and leave this country where they did when last in power - bankrupt.

Then of course you have the migrant problem which is costing £7m a day. Social care is broken, nhs on its knees and a load of other things that are broken. It’s broken Great Britain and will only get worse.

I fully expect the SP to retract to about £2.50 ish following the announcement next week. I fear the glory days are over for O&G companies - you can’t make a profit without the gov robbing.

Totally agree Flabby. Agree with everything you’ve stated. We have a Conservative party operating socialist policies. Politicians spout their rubbish for votes, nothing else. When everything goes back to normal I can guarantee there will be no help forthcoming.

By increasing the levy will make the Tories look weak as this is what Labour have been calling for so it’s a case of I told you so. Do politicians know what the profits in the UK that BP and Shell make - probably not but sounds good.

If this happens it’s time for SQZ board to turn the taps off and invest abroad.

Why can’t we have a board without mud slinging? I would much rather see posts that concentrate on the Company’s progress and looking forward to seeing the presentation next week.

You can never trust any politician. They voted no for a WFT in parliament and then came up with an energy levy which effectively is the same.

If Rishi goes ahead with another WFT then it plays into the opposition hands as this is what they have been calling for.

We’ll know our fate next week and can only think that anything positive EIGG will get the SP moving up, otherwise, is likely to drop.

There will be another WFT as that will be a vote winner. Some Tory’s won’t like it then they will squabble amongst themselves all over again. But what will the extra WFT be? Not one politician can answer that because even they don’t know but sounds good to the public.

You have to just ask yourselves did the bod get lucky and of course they did. Where would we be now without the increase in gas prices? The reason why they didn’t acquire is because they didn’t want to overpay. I wish we as shareholders could see what deals they were looking at.

An sp doesn’t just drop by this amount without reason Sasa. Ok maybe not Hardy but something has obviously gone off. Doubt it is Eigg has most of the drilling cost is covered. Talk of WFT - get that but the WFT would have to be huge. Therefore, can only deduce someone is selling down.

I’m actually not bothered about Egypt - that’s to keep the Company ticking over and will never make a fortune. It’s Maria and Jamaica that are the game changers here.
