and While IAC's appear to have less radionuclides than hard rock the ratio's Rn/TREO are similar, ie when you actually compute the amount of Rns reporting to tailings for any given production of MREC it is usually comparable. The difference being that Hard rock mines do the responsible thing and contain the Rn's in properly engineered and constructed TSF's while IAC's and others just pump/dump it all back into their dredge ponds, ie in an enhanced solubility state!

That is a Macro-Geopolitical move with very few players at that level, and I very much doubt that China would fund such a program? That leaves only two, possibly three players: The US, Japan or at a stretch the EU.

When will the bleeding stop? I presume you are talking about the SP, which admittedly has lost 50% over the last month, but that is totally in line with most of our Sector peers. So, a simple answer to that is when the Sector / Global economy recovers, on that your guess is as good as mine.

But if you think about it and analyse the situation, the SP is basically inconsequential at the moment, the mine is now fully financed and construction is progressing as scheduled, therefore the Company does not really need to raise much cash in the short term. The US Government are salivating at the prospect of getting a Tier 1 supply, so much so that they have facilitated an integrated a full mine to magnet consortium. Pensana's biggest problem now is that they have an overabundance of off-take agreements, hence the latest drilling announcement, surely even you can put 2+2 together and realise that somebody who is desperate for RE's and has significant monetary resources is behind them. Pensana certainly did not need to expand their Reserves at this point in time as they already had 20+ years proven up.

Hi Mumbles; that was well timed given today's RNS. It sounds as if the Americans have much bigger plans for Pensana than we ever dreamt of. No miner drills out his ore reserves beyond 20 years unless they are supremely confident that there is already an increased demand for their commodity. I believe that the reason why Longonjo's product is so marketable and is so highly sought after is because of its high grade and it is proven to be RN free ie clean. Which is why there are now so many offtake opportunities, not least the eVAC deal, to fill. IMO It will not be too long before the current process plant is replicated.
