Two massive events that may propel Longonjo to become the No1 show in RE's26 Nov 2025 09:43
While these FUD merchants nitpick about minor, inconsequential and usually unfounded lies. We are being distracted from the bigger picture. Funny how they never refer to FACTS and ignore what has happened to their own stuff ups! HZM, RBW, MET1. As Mumbles says, there is nothing lost by putting them on ignore.
So let's not be distracted and instead try to adsorb and analyse today's BIG news. It appears that China may have pulled off another "Greenland" coup, having found a senior Government official in Brazil who has thrown a spoke into the works of MEI and VMM. Not only is he calling for a ten-year delay in their project's development on Environmental grounds, he is also threatening to prosecute anybody who stands up to him!
Now some may ask what could this possibly have to do with the Longonjo project? Well, if the Chinese succeed in blocking the development of Colossus' and Caldeira, it will greatly diminish the US's ability and options to source the Rare Eart FEED that they are currently planning on and so desperately need.; possibly by as much as 50%..
Which leaves Longonjo and Nolans, being the only two mines currently in construction that may be able to pick up the slack.
Brazil's move is not really surprising given its membership of BRICS, I would not be surprised if somebody in the DoD, CIA or DEA saw this coming and has come up with an insurance policy Which could possibly explain the up until now unfathomable news from last week about the massively expanded drilling program for Longonjo. And when you think a little further, you don't throw US$11M into an unnecessary look-see drilling program, unless you are prepared to further spend a hell of a lot more money to fund a massive expansion of the mine once the results confirm your expectations.
By-by trolls, there are far more important and interesting issues to contemplate.
