the annoying thing is we had to sift through his and brooms bull**** for months instead of just being able to discuss the company and now he’s telling us all our investment isn’t as good as his.

It's definitely a reason but i think people have too much of a US-centric view when it comes to the price of gold.

We really dont need gold screaming higher for another 12 months either. Anything above 2500-2750 and the whole sector will be making plenty of cash. Too high too quickly and we'll start to see banana governments slapping big taxes on gold like the UK's energy sector

Is there any stock on the market that doesn't have some people sell into a rise? Some people wont be happy unless there's not a single sell on the board forever.

Nobody has ever really discussed short term price action in this thread. Day to day movements can be quite volatile due to the illiquid nature of it.

If I had 20m shares in a stock I didn’t like I would probably get a bit twitchy too

Lads, you can’t have it both ways. Either you’ve bought a stinker and wasted 10 years on CNR or it’s still a great asset that should do multiples under a different name.

Were CNR holders aware of these new figures? 2022 the last estimates but assume some more work has been done since then and this is just DB notifying MTL holders

I’d be surprised if we aren’t working on such deals for cash flow purposes over the next 2-5 years. But if you want to grow properly you need deals like this

Yeah I understand that. But it’s driven by emotion.

I think MTL is worth 10p as we stand today, so if a listed company buys us tomorrow for 5.5p I would go and buy the other company knowing they’ve got a bargain

I do take the point about people having a different timescale etc. But good has just broken out after a decade. If you’ve been patient enough with Mellon for 2+ years you can probably wait another 2 to see your rewards multiplied further

I don’t see why condor shareholders are so personally annoyed with the price offered.

It’s an asset owned by CNR. If it’s so ridiculously cheap and undervalued you can just buy the shares of MTL. The value of the gold in the ground isn’t affected by the name of the ticker.

If I had any CNR shares I would be grateful this hasn’t been taken private for 40p and you’d never see the benefits of such a cheap asset.
