To be honest I was surprised at the bounce after the RNS and the flippant comments from some large holders here. There were hints that the extremely large cherry on top of our admittedly very nice cake may have fallen off and rolled under the sofa. Until we have some clarity about the situation or a new plan is outlined I don’t think we will rise with the same exuberance.

I’m less concerned about the protestations than I am about the gold being significantly deeper than expected.

La India will undoubtably make us a lot of money but at 5000+ gold, so will every other miner worth its salt. Really important to hear what he has to say in the upcoming interview.

Stocksandrocks if I’m being honest you just picked a poor time to buy. You watched it consolidate at 5p, then rise 200% in a couple of months and then lumped in when people were taking profits and the share started consolidating. Maybe ask yourself some questions about why you brought when you did instead of accumulating when you had a big chance.

Sorry, but legal issues and protests around a potential mine for a company that has 2 mines is a perfectly legitimate topic. Nobody has even suggested selling shares and they’re still being accused of panic.

What tangible benefits come from a consolidation? Do people really wake up one morning and think yeah, i'll buy 1 share today for 60p but I wouldn't touch 4 x 15p shares with a barge pole.

I thought Christmas had come early with a new RNS

This is as poor as I can remember sentiment being around this stock for at least 2 years. Providing nothing behind the scenes has changed we are 20% cheaper than 2 months ago and 2 months further down the timeline without any issues. In fact we’ve probably made a load of money out of the mishap at Runruno

When the move does come I think it will be as explosive as earlier in the year, but it may be a few weeks or months away yet. Don’t blame people for putting their money in larger, less risky producers for the time being. But the time will come

Averaged up here today for the first time in many months. Barely above the 200day which seems quite insane. Feels like a good opportunity to buy a few providing there isn’t a nasty surprise waiting for us.

Easy to get frustrated short term watching other shares take a leap while we consolidate but remember if you were sitting in Equinox April-June you’d have seen the SP fall 10% while MTL moved up 120%. You’d be tearing your hair out.

You can’t catch them all though I suspect a lot of money is actually trading around the small cap miners trying to catch these breakouts.
