You are right in that the Board need this deal to happen as they are sat on over 1/2Bn shares between them and its the only true way to maximise value of their holding, however ask a man who is 65 years old whether he would take £1m now or £5m when he is 85.
I'm sure even the largest private investors would like a nice piece of say half of a pie now saving the other half for a year or two down the line when EUA2 flourishes.
The fact the share price is on its arse keeps everyone effectively locked in and subject to the constant rinse repeat by the MM's.

The whole market has tanked, if we get a bounce in the market and a drilling result next week then this baby will soar like an eagle!

They should fold the company and watch the revolt against the FCA.

Sadly it’s arrived much sooner than I/we expected. This could continue to drop to the warrant price of 10p before it bottoms out.
I think I will switch off before the horror story continues.

The 15p figure is approaching sooner than I expected. Today may just be a reflection of the market as a whole but then again it could be an orchestrated move to drop the price lower.
If we don’t see a bounce on Monday (barring Russia stepping over the border) then the slide will continue.
The board haven’t attempted to appease or give any comfort to the private investors which reeks of tunnel vision as all eyes on will be on the MBO.
I would love to see a major shareholder revolt and a strategy to put their own appointed person on the board in a non executive position to stop the manipulation.

You are absolutely right and given they have 100,000 troops camped very close to the boarder, dark clouds are definitely looming. I have a shed load invested in EUA waiting the final piece of the jigsaw to drop into place and that is my major concern there.
