That's the issue. It's not in majors interest to let little old Omi get too big for their boots (especially if the end goal is to buy Anza)....
Conversely this is why some consider that majors walking away and still retaining 100pc of Anza and then securing funding ourselves to produce Apta may be a better strategy longer term, though market would crucify that near term.
As much as people don't want to hear it, it seems that the most potent tool in omi's armoury is their virgin joint ventures and having some success at these areas.....this is variables that the majors can't control.
Brad is an issue, clearly, but I also think at this critical time his hands are tied as his main focus is for the majors to sign on the dotted line. His modus operandi will be to ensure phase 2 is signed and trying to gain as much concessions as possible without it being detrimental to Orosur..with the problem being he is not in much of a bargaining position as unfortunately we do need the majors more than they need us. Plus Newmont are our largest shareholder, it would be catastrophic for the rest of us if they took away that support but I'm pretty sure their might has a gagging influence on just what is made available into the public arena by brad...mind you the directors could be holding a good few more shares in their position. So jackbal as you put it it's a blessing and a curse...but still more favourable than alot of aim companies. At least we are drilling, hopefully that picks up as a few good results will really make a difference.
