Snowking...lithium companies have been saying this for at least 5 years so hardly news just because RIO says it.
Steve Jones...what about broker manipulation with yet another £1 million buy and another just under £1 million just 5 minutes after the market has closed. This is simply ridiculous and gives a false impression of trading during hours.
Motbuck....totally agree and worth adding that dividends are also tax free. My wife and I have invested maximum allowed each tax year for past eight years plus .
I suspect that sushi is well under water on this share looking at his posts today and is desperate for this to get back to say 30p which may be his average purchase price. ?
Good to see Peel Hunt come to the party and very strange that they are so far apart from Liberum !
Jamgoo....many thanks and the ASX has been very good for me and my London Group recently. 75X on LTR (Lithium) and 5X on Tietto Minerals where I invested pre IPO and raised a much needed AS500k at 2 am at the V&A Waterfront. I have met with GR twice in Cape Town and in London at the Chesterfield a few years ago and I found him to be shifty. There is a chance that PREM will come good but as you know , running 3 rigs, sampling and completing a "signed off" DFS will cost , in all likelihood, anything north of $6 million. A new COO will be welcome but it is time for GR to step aside and let a new CEO take on the operational side of things.
Reader61.....you raise an interesting point and it would not surprise me if RS brings in some level of IHT on pension pots. He needs to raise some large sums over the next couple of years and pensions, second properties, main residences and more will be on his target list. Not popular but necessary. I like the idea of giving stamp duty relief to older generation downsizing....really who needs a 5 or 6 bedroom house when the children have flown the nest. I remain a long term holder of LGEN though but will await the Budget before adding more.
Goozee....you might like to learn about lithium grades and how to run a lithium exploration company by looking at LTR on the ASX . Put their 4 year graph against that of PREM. A group of us in London had the opportunity to take a placement at 2c and added post placement at up to 2.5c.
Pathetic answer Jangoo as you have only 28 posts on this board. I assume that you must be posting under different monikers and have forgotten that you only post on this one very occasionally. Scrolling back will take you less than 10 seconds....another clown joins GR .
Jamgoo...how many hats have you eaten since your post here in December 2019 ? Just curious.
It seems that the post 16:30 trades are significant and probably the very quick sell note by Liberum has allowed one of its clients or favoured punters to snaffle a mere 1,081,893 shares at 16:35 at 97.60p for £1 million. A little snaffle of 200k shares 17 minutes later at 98.25p for £196k as well ? Expecting this to go back above £1 tomorrow.
GR in London ? Sounds familiar story at this time of year so that he can restock his impressive collection of Pringle shirts and buy Christmas presents for all his family. He will have a good chuckle on the way back home . I do hope that those of you who are travelling miles to see this man ask some serious questions and do not just lap up all the cream.
If the SFA had any teeth they would look at the larger trades well after hours yesterday at above 100p. RNS would have been signed off by the NOMAD and brokers at that stage so it looks as if somebody(somebodies) was trading on inside information. Liberum has upped its sell target to 88p. Do hope they get burned at some stage on this and other AIM shares that they are "playing" in.
What garbage will they come out with today after these results...reiterate a sell at 82p ?
At first glance looks fine and on track for previous guidance for 2021. AISC looks fine and so long as gold price stays north of $1750 the cash machine is spinning hard enabling the company to get some serious exploration under its belt in the next 6 months. Shares should tick up today on this.
Most important thing for me is the guidance for Q4 2021 and beyond. These numbers will be most informative especially if the gold price stays above USD 1750 per ounce. The Company should have some idea of this with September and half of October under their belts.
Snowking.....you do not understand what is involved in completing a DFS nor do you comprehend how much it is going to cost to drill an acceptable grid of holes. GR has always been out of his depth and if you believe everything he says then I suppose that is your choice. I have been speaking via Zoom to 14 exploration companies over the past few days and three of those companies are at DFS stage and negotiating with debt providers and will sign off on DFS once all has been audited by third parties and finance deal is on the table and that is how it should be.
Building a mine before DFS. ! Snowking , you have zero understanding of how this works . If you want to see a lithium explorer in action please do some homework on an ASX Listed Company , Liontown Resources (ASAX:LTR) and see how their share price has appreciated over the past 4 years. PREM will have to spend 10's of millions of $ before reaching a decision to mine and most banks will keep well clear of him. Have a great week-end.
I have always rated Berenberg in the oil and other resource sectors and will happily wait much longer on this share. Increased dividends along the way perhaps .
Dusty....you are right to highlight battery tech that can do without/with less cobalt as the new battery tech is moving towards the LFP (lithium, ferro, phodphate) and LMFP (including manganese) batteries. Advantage surrounds safety excluding nickel and cobalt but the downside is reduction in battery range. Would like to see AFP move in the copper and manganese spaces if lithium cannot be done.
