Why did you nearly panic sell? Because the SP went down?
As with most mining exploration companies (especially of this size), the proof will be in the pudding. I.e. the completed mine and getting the stuff out.
It takes many years to build a mine, and to build one without hiccup would be an historic first. So I'm curious as to why there is such massive ramping on information that was technically already known.
Well this is why it is just a punt for me, as it appears to be run by Laurel and Hardy.
One of the world's greatest mineral resources in the hands of a clown(s).
I wonder, how did they even get this far?
Because it has rights to what is likely to be the biggest nickel deposit in the world, and whatever else they come across in that mining vicinity - platinum, gold, lithium - the lot.
The potential is enormous. But the risk is equally so.
Bottom drawer punt for me. I will check back in every 6 months.
Ok thanks.
If we get the TEO sorted, and barring any major construction issues, what is your estimated price here and what time horizon?
Interesting .
So you dont think any large institutions would have an advantage compared to Amur when conducting the TEO?
I did a fair bit of DD before buying this, albeit it is still a punt for me.
But the potential project site is home to one of (if not the) largest nickel deposit in the world. And Amur has 100% mineral rights on whatever it digs up.
A few questions for old timers:
1. Why haven't any big players taken them out?
2. Why would the Russian government permit such a valuable asset to be privatised by some small fry tin pot mining outfit
3. Is anyone worried that we are eating into our 20 year contract time for digging up the stuff, and we haven't even started digging? I know we have an optional extension but still.
Thanks
Yes, barriers to entry from competitors. Interesting points.
I know 'any tom dick or harry' couldn't start a utilities company. But what about the Mr Dicks of the utility world? Already established players who can undercut on price for instance?
Their key selling point is multi utility point and technology. I just don't know why someone with capital and know how couldn't elbow into the market.
I will continue monitoring and maybe see what the next earnings report brings.
Impressive growth nontheless!
Been following this stock for a while and didn't get in before the spike. I might put a bit on now, but just one question I can't seem to answer.
what are the barriers to entry here?
How do you get from "£8 per share - dividend" to "£14 per share - monster"... what assumptions have you used here?
Could he have placed a short on a stock that redditt got hold of? Happened to plenty of people yesterday.
There was also an article about turning £1000 into a million last year if you selected the right stocks.
Hindsight doth butter no parsnips.
I guarantee you it won't be the TEO completion.
Given the fairly high volumes for the last NRR RNS, the completed TEO would have sent this sky rocketing. This is as leaky as Sirius Minerals.
Canaccord Genuity own Hargeave Hale, which manage the Marlborough Small cap range (Giles Hargreave anyone?). They run the most AUMs in UK small caps and a force to be reckoned with.
It's all in the detail.
Agree with most of your comment. But why do you think/suspect the TEO is imminent?
Kape has barely moved over the past year and is trading at a cheaper multiple than peers, and arguably growing faster with a better balance sheet. Cyber security is a hugely structural growth market and this stock is right in there.
Deserves to be between £3.50 and £4 a share.
The only explanation for the price today is that the market had already price this in a few months ago with the sharp rises.
Still disappointed. However I strongly believe this is a multi billion pound franchise in the making.
1. The global rollout story (Japan and US markets)
2. Growing the online offering
3. Distrupting weaker competitors
4. Tapping into the move to premium products
Patience. Hoping to double my money on a 2/3 year view from here.
Thanks appreciate the insight and your opinions. I share your concerns on the aforementioned risks.
This is a higher risk and therefore lower weight within my portfolio.
Good luck to all of us and hopefully we make a killing.
Ok thanks for explaining.
The crux of it - would you invest today knowing that AH is no longer a BoD member? Do you have an issue with the company's communication?
What is your long term share price estimation if they achieve all their targets?
A president, in a corporate sense, is the Leader of the company's executive group.
give me one example in another company where a president is not a member of the BoD.
I won't hold my breath.
