I've tried to look into MBO; still giving it some thought. Will post my thoughts on MBO bb. Unfortunately the website I get a lot of information from, Digitallook.co.uk has been down for some days. It was meant to be for some updates or alike, but I still can't access it. Has anyone else had any luck. Regards.

Yes, I'm out here!. Rather have a quiet bb than one full of drivel. This isn't the sort of share which is going to set the world alight with excitement like mining, oil or high tech shares and hopefully won't give such a roller coaster white knuckle ride but does have very good prospects as you rightly say. If you go to growthcompanyinvestor.co.uk and look under their recommendations for 19 April you will see their report for SUN, along with their report for GBO too, both given a buy recommendation. Keep in touch, but don't be surprised if this stays quiet on this bb. Regards.

May 26, Reuters - W H Ireland starts Surgical Innovations coverage with buy rating; 15p price target. Interesting.

I wouldn't be too concerned about the lack of positive movement on the sp, there were only 12 trades today and the total value was less than £40,000, can't see much happening on the back of that. Give it time. Just wish GBO was as stable!. Regards

I wish you luck re HLO pintofhsb; certainly better luck than I had many years ago with one of my first holdings called Calluna which was suspended and died!. With my inv. in SUN and top up with GBO I've just about made up my loss in NoGoodLuck. I make no predictions, bar one, that I won't be a millionaire by investing in shares! What I would say about SUN is that looking at the fundamentals it looks very strong, far better than many companies but as you have said none of us can predict what news is in the future. I do try and invest now after more detailed research rather than hope or others pie in the sky tips but of course am still open to mistakes, notably not putting stop losses on when things turn ugly. ATB.

A little disappointed re takeover price too, but not too surprised after recent events; it could have been lower. Decided to sell at 55.25p since I couldn't see how sp could go much higher with the to price being 53.3p + div. of 2.7p = 56p. Possibility that sp would fall back a little and knowing m makers they often mark down sp by the div price on day shares go ex div. I made about 10% over 6 months, not much, but more than had I stuck the money away in any bank with interest, so no gripes. Wouldn't feel too down repeatfailure, you made a profit, has to be good!. ATB.

1/2 expected the sp to fall back a little this a.m, so put a buy order in for 8.6p. Didn't happen of course!. First quote was to buy at 9.4p., but expected it fall back....didn't happen!. Wasn't expecting such a rise today, but, hey, no complaints!. Hope you've made up most if not all of your losses re. UKC pintofhsb. Any more promises?.

Interesting diverse holdings you have. I have shares in MONI and GBO, the first held for about a year, the latter a recent buy plus a top up. MONI looks good, sp should be much higher after all the positive news (largely NOT through RNS) and major shareholders, but sp has done little over the year. IMO I believe when technology is accepted and implemented it may make significant progress but starting to think this is likely to happen more next year than this. GBO is making better progress re sp at present. Keeping an eye out for other opportunities but won't rush. Good luck, enjoy your ale!.

There is nothing foolish about taking a profit pintofhsb, that is what investment is all about. It takes courage to pull the plug and take a hit with a loss. Too many investors believe things will bottom out and pick up, more often than not they don't. I call this "falling in love with a share"!. I Iost about 40% on a share whose ticker could stand for NoGoodLuck, I should have read the signs and bailed out at 20% using a stop/loss, I should have known better and have used my experience and head and not my heart. Thankfully I bailed out before they fell another 60%!. There were better opportunites out there. Yes, I'm making a profit on SUN, but I can only afford small investments so while you are enjoying a comfortable retirement, I'll just treat myself to a pie and peas at the local!, well...., hopefully a little more than that. The sp may well have been overdone, but it may be overdone more yet. There have been 2 profit warnings recently, although I only recognised the first one recently, believing the share placement would hold the sp up, it didn't. The current bod MAY have the ability to turn this around, I don't know. If the quarterly update report IS positive then it may stop the retrace; if it IS NOT then, ....well......!. I wish everyone invested in NGL well, but I would advise a wait and see approach until after the report; it's dangerous to second guess how the market will re-act. GLA.

I invested a relatively small amount at 7.875p during the morning. I'm not expecting these to fly, slow and steady will suit me; have had too many rocket rides with other shares only to see them come back down as quickly. Cautiously optImisitc. Hope you got a decent price for UKC if you sold pintofhsb. GLA.

Thanks for the info mulledwine, first I knew of details of takeover. Might be time for me to take the small profit and move onto something else. Not sure why sp will go any higher from here, but will see what happens in morning. Not holding enough shares to make much difference re. dividend. ATB.

Hmm!, interesting reading. Rated as a buy in todays Growth Company Investor. Gone deeper into final results, looks healthy. Looked at major share holders, pretty good. Share price relatively strong, near a year high. Star ratings on Digitallook.com very positive. Share price chart looks good. Hmm....maybe see what spread is tomorrow.....definitely worth a closer look. Gla.

This gives me absolutely NO pleasure seeing the sp as it is despite selling last week. I genuinely feel quite sick for all of you still invested. I didn't see this coming!. My last post about stop losses still applies but chances are sp would have fallen straight through it this a.m and not activated it. What I WILL say to you is beware of a dead cat bounce (not that I am saying NGL IS a dead cat), but any bounce MAY be short lived. There are other shares out there more worthy of a closer look. Don't fall in love with ANY share, it does not know you, has no feeling, owes you nothing but sure as heck can bite!, believe me, I know from past experience!. Good luck to all of you.

Regardless of the share it is always worth considering putting a stop loss on it when things are looking tough so we don't lose too much. It's all too easy to believe things will pick up, that a bottom has formed but a share which is looking cheap may get cheaper. . Wish I had remembered this!. Hope things pick up for you MUBZ, gla.

I sold out of these shares last week at around 36.75p. having made a uncomfortable loss. Despite the strong gold price the sp still falls, which to me is alarming, so I ask the question why?. Well, looking on Digitallook.com at the trends and recommendations I notice that the estimated revenue for year ending 30 June 2011 shows a reduction over the last 3 months from 85 to 70 to 59 to 58 million pounds (latest). Eps estimates have fallen from 7.69 to 4.63 to 1.96 to 1.77p per share. This pretty much follows the downward line on the share chart. Quarterly report on 29 Jan. showed that for 3 months to 31 Dec 2010 production was 11162 oz at an operating cost of $1342 per oz, which imho seems very high. The share placing may hold the sp up, but guarantees nothing as I have learnt in the past from other shares.. Projections for year ending June 2012 are better. In the meantime I am sitting on the sidelines. Hopefully the sp will kick back up shortly. Good luck folks and of course dyor.

Well folks, sp may well rise now since I've decided to let the knife go, it was just hurting too much. It was the constant drip, drip, drip day in day out that did it. I held on because of the share placing but should have let go earlier. Looking elsewhere to try and regain my losses but will keep an eye on ngl.....is that such a good thing?. Anyway I wish you well.
