It was JC who brought in CH too. Forgive me but I think it is just idle talk to point fingers at JC, especially when we are in a position of possible deal news, which has been in progress for the last eighteen months? It was under JCs stewardship too that we got into the Grand Challenge finals, even he competition itself.

Seems to me as I said, it is very plausible to expect more fruit from our Genentech, BioNT ech, ISA partners, and in fact those are the words CH used twice in e-mail conversations with him.

I think there are many of us who have the number of shares they want, just the known traders who will take more, and that in itself, without news, and bringing in new PIs, makes IMHO our SP very weak.

Considering the lack of news, for whatever reason, it is nigh on impossible to single out JC for individual criticism, but hey must be something i don!t know. ATB

All the collaborations, which have been very instrumental in getting to where i hope we are now, have come under the Chairmanship of Chiplin. Cannot understand the negativity towards him, but do understand those seeking to buy in cheaper picking up on whatever suits.

I don"t think it is prudent to even contemplate a raising before at least the Grand Challenge Results, and with the SP very weak as it is, where is it prudent?

Hi Ruck, likewise on all points, was very tempted on Friday at 10.30 odd, but i did say i wouldn"t be buying more, i am happy with my holding, its paid for, accounted for and i can live my life comfortably without needing to pinch a few bob here and there.

Zero stress is my optimum goal, i do sometimes get frustrated at not being that mobile, but for the first time as i said i am really enjoying catching up with simple things and that film last night was the perfect example. I also thought of Moditope when Mr Jingles re-appeared at the end, lol.

Deadly regarding the BODs pay, i would like to feel it is a sign of a commercial deal to come, along with a few other pointers. Got no problems with what they earn as long as monies start coming in to us, and as Ruck says, and i will slightly reword it, i just cant see why fears of funding should be necessary at this point in time. Going back to zero stress, I haven"t even looked at the ADVFN BB for a fair few weeks, maybe a couple of months, and can only imagine with sentiment being low, they are using everything they can to wind up PIs and get back in as low as possible. Bored with that game after so long now.

Yeah, happy to see what develops the next few months, the important FACT is there is interest in Moditope, we are working with very sizable companies and we and they have had time to work together and assess future prospects. I am choosing to take the silence and even lack of twitter posts as it best they say very little if anything at this point. With that in mind, hoping the AGM, whether we get news or not remains very differently to what occurred a few years back., and a time to use what ears are for. Heres hoping..........................

Well we certainly don"t have to present at ESMO for it to coincide as a meeting place or a time of news, although again i really don"t think commercial news will come until after The Grand Challenge Results, but who knows.

There will be a rather celebatory atmosphere this year, what with James Allison winning the Nobel Prize, has there ever been a time when immunotherapy has been so serenaded in the public and professional arena?

Wouldn"t worry too much about lack of information after these events, there normally isn"t any, but it is another grand meeting place and exchange of minds for oncologists.

I can only imagine October has been a busy time for Team Scancell, finding the right time when all necessary personnel are available for the AGM might well have proved tricky, but mindful 21 days notice is the minimum for an AGM, the BOD at least gave 25 days notice, which i am sure will help those wanting to go have more time to arrange their own schedules/ Often we hear some PIs criticise the expectations being raised by these conferences, maybe it is just they do not have instant impact on the companies share prices, but the importance of such gatherings is not in question, and the newsflow that accompanies them is usually plentiful and do serve as platforms for the latest stars, results and what to look for for the coming years.

Hi buddy, great to see you around.It has only been the last few weeks i have been thinking of you, and was hoping in some way you were still involved here.

Hoping there is nothing much wrong with you,but yes i can normally sleep eighteen hours through, just very tired, never really covered from the radiation and a few other serious conditions and after a break just going through a few biopsies which i hope don"t explain the tiredness i feel.. I"ve been lucky i guess to still be here, the share is not exactly going through a great few months but i built over the last six years a holding i am happy to run with, and missing a few days a week has been a release, what with newsflow and a weakening SP. A shame as it tends to perk me up at good times, hoping for many more with good times being our norm.

I won"t be buying more, although very tempted to buy a few to trade now having my core holding in place. Desperate to see us back in trial, and expecting and hoping our collaborators are keen to do a deal to progress Moditope towards that The industry must be buzzing after immunotherapy being the subject of the Nobel Prize, talk about a validation.!!! Just having a quick look at the index, seems as if Hardman have dropped many regular biotechs and replaced them i take it with shares of current interest, rather than keep repeating the same old info monthly.

Probably a much better appeal for them above all, wonder whether they will do a seperate Hardman Biotech monthly, if resources allow them too. Makes good business sense to me, don"t change it if it is working", obviously it isn"t. Nothing really more than that and despite the AGM RNS this morning still think it very feasible we aer deep in talks, the CIC Conference included ISA, Genentech and BioNTech and ESMO will be another opooertunity to get together with all our collaborators and even Keith Flaherty to put the final touches to our SCIB 1 Trial.

Apart from hoping we are close to some good news, our collaborations reach the year milestone, SCIB trials are due, updates on SCIB2 appreciated. Stayed up to the RNSs were due this morning, until sleeping another 12 hours, hence up now.

Very off topic but did anyone see the film "The Green Mile" tonight with Tom Hanks, i never watched films or went to the cinema since i was a kid, so lucky i can catch up with them all these days. A great film. Will post up anything else of interest if i find something

I like qhat moonparty posted on Thursday, "be brave when others are fearful" easier said than done at tomes but sentiment correct, hoping for news to get us talking and cause a sentiment change, nothink i would rather see than that and i still believe we will be rewarded. GL All.

It is plausible, given the relationships with ISA, BioNTech and Genentech go back to 2017 at least, ESMO is the week before the AGM, and considering subject Moditope has beaten 141 others in getting to the Finals, interest will be no surprise, not from even one party.

Who knows, repeat it is plausible and buys are coming in. GL

A week after ESMO

Strange night for me, getting used very slowly to watching my beloved Chelsea playing Thursday nights in Europe, and glancing in before going to bed. Delighted to read what I did, it had been on my mind for a couple of weeks, and just possibly it explains what has been a very strange period for us.

It is as if Scancell have just shut up shop, I draw blanks trying to find out when the AGM would be a few weeks back, and like us all have just watched the tumble from 14p, slowly burning. I haven"t even looked in some days, mainly due to sleeping the days through and with the passage of days, realising no AGM RNS was coming had it in my mind that i wondered if we were just waiting for something, important for the AGM in dictating our direction. Put it down mainly to waiting on Grand Challenge Results but that now seems to be early next year.

Woken up three times now, most unusual, thinking of last nights posts and wanting to call Hardman to find out just something regarding us no longer gaining there coverage.

Think I will just stay up now, there have been so many false hopes and expectations these last few years, but the thoughts shared last night allign with mine, and i just wonder if we have stumbled upon something credible.

Time really is flying by, week to week, i sleep over half of it, but think i will just stay up now, a couple of calls to make.

We haven"t had our day, just maybe that is about to change, the adrenalin is flowing again for sure. Good luck all.

VAL 101 – 15/12/2011 Val said ‘..production of the VAL101 compound is going to plan and has been optimised and simplified, which by extension makes the compound cheaper to produce, thereby adding future value. ... VAL101 progressing well in preclinical development.’
Nearly 6 and a half years later on 19/4/18 they said ‘..the successful optimisation of the VAL101 molecule. This will be the compound that will be taken forward for preparation and use in clinical trials.’
So Val 101 – pushing seven years and....zilch. Who would be in discussions about that?
