Freddie, thanks for your reply. We do have a meeting of minds. Although my biggest holding is elsewhere, another Biotech, I ,am down 37%, have berated the BOD the last few months for what i see as a lack of communication and as a result the share has fallen some 25% in the last couple of months.

Nothing wrong with the pipeline, collaborations etc, but the elephant in the room for some time has been funding, in the absence of commercial activity..

Having reduced my average from 41p to 18p over six years, I really do understand what you guys are going through. Patience can be stretched to breaking point at times, and as charged as a result take no pleasure in the situation here.

So i do want to see a success story here, if the treatments really are good, it is just the standard of posting that prompts me to comment, as I see no pleasure in PIs buying into a dream on false information. This may well come good. Just wanted to clarify that and wish you all luck. Unfortunately the word patience springs to mind. ATVB

Morning. Wanted to reply to you after you asked me a question yesterday but got rather sidetracked. Probably wouldn"t have some time ago, but find your posts far more realistic now.

Unfortunately when you have a poster plucking figures out of thin air "and expecting the SP to be £1 this time next year", I ind it laughable and if I held shares here would probably cringe at such claims. What is that based on??

You asked whether I thought 10p was reasonable and possible. Of course it is, if indeed VAL do pull off a commercial deal. But again what is that based on?? Contrary to the nonsense that has been written I have a keen interest in the Bio sector, particularl cancer treatments and want nothing more than to see successful treatments which can extend life whilst havinf as few side effects as possible. It is no secret my feelings towards VAL, and this year many have commented on reasons why I have little respect for them. From Directors salaries, to endless placings to pay for the boards excesses the list goes on.

My reason for quoting fourteen and adding LOL, is i find it laughable to post a figure plucked out of thin air, with absolutely no reasoning behind it. Commercialability is so far off in the real world and this share has enjoyed and suffered some mighty SP swings down to sentiment and what i believe to be far too much blatant ramping. It has been a traders share for a long time and i just hope those who are in did not buy in on some of the claims posted here.

Mine is just like everybody elses, an opinion, I hope VAL do find a partner who feels the treatments are worthy of investing the millions needed to take them through conclusive trials, and above all shareholders here stop being hammered by a BOD who seem to be contemptuos towards its shareholders. I wish you luck, and just wish those feel negatively are not demonised by those feeling positive. I look in vain for somebody to post good reason to back up so many ludicrous claims. We all know we are in a very high risk sector, raising funds is very hard, if you believe VAL will buy shares, but I do feel because of the many false claims, speculative rises will be harder to come by. Many of us will have noted the huge amount of press afforded to this years Nobel Prize Winner, and its importance to the emergence of immunnotherapy in the future and now treatment of cancer.

This is just one such article, and it seems amazing that only 12 years ago he was the only immunologist in a very large crowd. Obviously LD couldn"t make it, lol..................................

Yesterday started with news of monocitrulline and a reminder of our extended agreement with the Karolinska Institute for Moditope, and ended proudly back at there with news of James Allisons Nobel Prize Award. A great day indeed for Immunotherapy, underlying its emergence as a leading treatment in the World of Cancer, cementing its position in Science and offers some validation as to our prospects in The Grand Challenge. My eyes always are always on the amazing team we have surrounded ourselves with and Moditope again reminding us of the attention being drawn towards it. It does IMHO augur very well for the journey ahead, and the time since Yervoys conception to know demonstrates the timelines involved in this sector.

It doesn"t seem so long ago that we were discussing Yervoy and then a lot of the side effects patients were suffering from it.

The complexities of cancer was well illustrated by Crumbs, in his 19.52 post and another reminder as with Yervoy of what is learnt from continual clinical development and the obstacles scientists become aware of in providing the safest treatments, often ground breaking, to us the patients. It was a great day for this BB too. It was a real pleasure to wake up and read the contributions from Wildforce, Crumbs, Bermudashorts/inanaco. Seems our "A" team are back and look forward to their contributions, which have been sadly missed for what seems like a very long time.. DA I know you have been adding to your holdings for some time and your posts reflect the genuine excitement that has been added by doing so.

Seeing those two late 50k sells only serves to remind us of the sentiment here, but as i tried to express yesterday morning, the positives, areas of news and relationships we have built around us far outweigh for me the current SP woes, and there exists so many items where we can have real hope for news in the weeks to come. After last night certainly lookslike 10p will be tested, my personal resolve not to add more is rapidly weakening and sincerely hoping we do bounce back from this very decisively.

It is very interesting Ray, when we add news like homocitrulline and the clear link to an already "extended" agreement, the positives for results and therefore news flow outweighs the negatives significantly. Negatives are nothing works and nobody as a result will back Scancell financially. Not a scenario I find likely.

Sentiment is very temporary, pipelines, collaborations and links to major companies are all areas where we hope commercial activity will be the end result. Form is temporary, class is permanent, Just noticed that 10k buy at 10.75,,,,,,,,,,,total cost £1075!!! Looking very tempting, and my promise not to add is weakening.

TF, to be honest about 6/7 weeks ago, might be a bit more I removed ADVFN from my windows and haven"t even looked at its contents for all that time. Not because anybody posted anything in particular that was bad, just felt after a while I could be far happier with it not in my life at all, and can prettty much imagine what the content is all about anyway., particularly of late.

If it was my choice, and its content resembled any semblance of balance i would be very happy if those interested in reading it, malice and all, can always log in there, rather than promoting it from this site.

You have done it before, Just go into the site, click on the link and when in, copy the http address at the top of the page. Then one by one paste it here on LSE and it will open. Rather than slag off the site, they taught me to be a more balanced poster, I didn"t go there a while back to change them, just to understand better where they were coming from.

I understand now the subject of directors salaries has been under the spotlight, to be honest anything negative that can be used to batter an already subdued SP will be, with a buy in price between 8-10p possibly a target.

My 19.02 yesterday pretty much sums up my thoughts on the situation here, in my mind. A long time back i said I have mentally written off, my investment here, whilst adding that should we succeed i hold enough to change my life a bit. I even missed the Results RNS, sleep my 18/20 hours a day and yes still think we can make it based on what i posted. I no longer speak to anybody bar one about the share, unfortunately i haven"t got the energy i once had. Those who traded again have my respect, and the ones who have advised us of selling up i thank, but they have traded this throughout the last few years and have in retrospect been right.

I stand by my 19.02, not just in hope, but other scenarios don"t make much sense, unless of course that in clinical development is not developing how we would have liked. I choose not to believe that is the case. Be interesting to see the trades this week, will we see sub 10p? Plenty of life left in this IMHO, the negative side of a large pipeline is the need for future fundings, lets just hope the clear interest in us does produce commercial deals.

You asked how i was, which surprised me after all you said. Lets just say the last couple of months i have gone from house bound to bed bound, rare to be up all night, so will just see the RNSs come through before a nap. Genuine GL to all VLTH here, heres hoping.

Dragon, i agree, not the first time JC has got a very good deal using the Last.minute .com approach. Again we find ourselves amongst our collaborators at an important Conference. The direction of criticism is now being focused on BOD salaries, what next?? I do think with Grand Challenge Results in sight we are as close to a commercial deal as we ever have been, regardless of winning the top prize. Our team must like what Scancell have to offer, and the project has allowed all parties to work closely together, as indeed i hope will be the case in the future.

A non inflection based Results, does not alter the fact of what is being worked on with/without our collaborators, and in many ways links Moditope at every level.

Scancell emanates or materializes at the CIC but I respectfully point out, atm the CIC does not have our name written over it at all does it ?
