Re. Patients, a viewpoint from elsewhere :-

That in itself could well be wrong, it is IMHO as said by CH the trial started immediately, Alliance News and Sharecast confirmed that (see SCLP news). I believe patients have been selected, and we don"t know yet whether any number of patients have been treated,

Scancells decision to wait no longer for the IND was made on the basis that every day is precious, so again what is your point? Same diatribe at the expense of all the positive issues we are building on. Trading it Goosed?

CFEP and SCAP first MMs open on bid 6.8

We have made strong progress this year in advancing our pipeline of novel immunotherapies. Importantly, post period, we were pleased to initiate the UK arm of the SCIB1 Phase 2 trial, whilst disappointed with the need to withdraw our IND application to achieve this," said Scancell chief executive officer Cliff Holloway.

"We intend to resubmit the IND at the earliest opportunity."

Holloway noted the company also expanded its research and development team, and established a clinical advisory board, who would inform the clinical strategy for the planned Modi-1 trial in several solid tumour indications.

The sun is rising so much later and setting so much earlier, much to my liking as it leaves less time for the humidity to sap the last breathes out of me.

But yesterday was extraordinary, mostly housebound still, I managed by bus and feet to get three very important jobs done, the first time in a few years. That was joy, hope and achievement for me. I didn"t try and post in a balanced way, it came from a genuine place, people argue about RNSs whether they be good or bad every day, as I explained yesterday I wasn"t happy, nor am I with the manner the BOD dealt with it, but here is the RNS.............................(shortened)

The Phase 2 study is designed to assess whether the addition of SCIB1 to pembrolizumab will result in an improvement in the tumour response rate, progression-free survival and overall survival in 25 patients with advanced melanoma, who are also eligible for treatment with pembrolizumab. Professor Poulam Patel, Chief Investigator for the SCIB1 Phase 1/2 clinical trial and Professor of Clinical Oncology at the University of Nottingham, will now be the Chief Investigator for the Phase 2 study. Patient enrolment into the UK arm of the study will commence immediately.

As I said last night Vulpes and a serious buyer are not disappointed nor frustrated, full of hope and see us as a great investment. So watch that bid today, hopefully it will rise to 7p, but expect more big sells and 250k buys.

Just noticed that trade was executed just 2 minutes after the 192,192 sell, which has been the way the last few weeks/months. But the MMs delayed it for an hour when the volume was 299k, all of which were sells.

Why delay it? We haven"t seen that before with these exchanges. But as Cars posted the MMs were happily taking over 500k on auto at 6.922. I haven"t seen that before, so it is just IMHO we will get much of the same tomorrow, and it will be a good sign that we are very slowly creeping up if the MMs up their 6.9225 on the bid. Why delay it?? Well IMHO they were hoping for a few panic sells to fill the orders, but well done guys, nobody sold into it. Going back to Thursday we saw the 300k sell, followed by 2 x 250k buys at 7p, the fourth trade moments later was a 108k trade at 7.03. Didn"t call it the time but I believe that was a buy too, thought at the time it was a sell but the bid hasn"t been near 7.03 all week.

That being the case on a very low volume week, very few trades we saw on Tuesday and today 600k sells and 858k buys, which has been going on for many weeks now. That DA and I apologise again for snapping at you, is why I said the SP is little more than a sideshow at the moment. Surely the MMs job is to find a level where buys and sells match, well they have.

Having spoken to just a few people it is a shame sentiment is so low, I think all of us were unhappy with the same thing, the trials being set to start together, not telling us so, and even on 1st July not telling us, just a comment in the ""coming weeks"". Lets not forget we saw a 16m sell go through from City Financial (not our fault) at 3p and following Vulpes investment touched 10p just a few weeks back. Yes we have seen profit taking, but only a few weeks back it was hard to sell, IMHO our buyer has pushed this down to 7p and I do think we are heading back to 8p around AGM time and with any good news should break 10p at last on the third attempt. Yes JMHO, but it will be a sign of creeping back up to 8p if we see the bid rise tomorrow to 7p and our buyer starts paying 7.25ish.

So chins up, the only thing that is very negative is the way the BOD have messed up with their PR and communicating the trial dates for the SCIB1 trial IMHO, and believe me CH will hear that from me!! Night guys, chill.

DA, yeah sorry about that. We all have a few frustrations going into the AGM, but lets not forget we are in human trials (at last), moditope soon will be, and enormous progress is going on with Glycans and TCR.

I did say the other day that if I get the opportunity, I will ask why the SCIB1 trial was organised in such a way they had to start together, why we were not told on July 1st, let alone before, that and do the BOD want future RNSs to be cynically dismantled by are they telling us the truth? Unfortunately you normally get just 3/4 questions max, it doesn"t work nominating one person to speak, and if I cant ask the question I will definately ask it after the meeting to CH and JC.

I too was hoping for a higher SP by now, but I understand why we are where we are better than at any time before, and let us not forget just a few months ago 16m shares were sold at 3p!!!! Since then we rose to 10p, have seen some big sells and buys and Vulpes have joined forces with us. I do understand where you are coming from, it is frustrating, but I do believe this SP is a sideshow atm for someone building a large stake. I am sure from previous AGMs everyone will be minded to ask questions that are relevant and important. Take care mate.

And I mentioned last week the disproportionate amount of 50k sells, followed by 150k ones.

Also SCAP have been driving the bid when the larger trades come, the last few occasions and relevant to now is that they tick up the bid to 7p, for a few moments then tick straight down to accomadate the trades. Pretty convinced if there were a few PIs buying we would tick up pretty quickly on the bid side at least.
