And we move into September, been a pleasure here in London this weekend, a fair bit of sun, bits of rain, and NO humidity. That for me and many is a blessing, whilst the summer has seen a fair bit of a sun, the humidity here has been dreadful, and I think we all know what does to folks with breathing problems......................not good. So it is a very welcome Monday morning here at least.

Just got the one main hope today and all week, that we see some upwad movement on the bid, attract a few sellers, hoping our buyer is ready to collect them, and seeing a few PI buyers back in the market. We saw a couple of buys at 7.295 on Friday, sells at 6.9225, and volume bus at 7.10, slightly up on the week, and it is just MO we may well start a little upward bounce from here to the AGM.

It has been so quite for a month here in N.London what with holidays and schools being closed too, signs over the weekend that the great Car park on the streets, where roads used to be, is beginning again, so lets have a good day here.

Logic and AIM are a deadly mix, with such a buyer the SP should be much higher, but we have a seller and the MMs have struck an agreed trading level at 7p to match seller to buyer, not only that we are experiencing a very low volume of PI buys, even sells to hold that trading range.ah an interesting week, lets see who blinks first. Yeah, looking forward to it this year, having gone to the first 4 only been able to catch one in the last four years, and whilst trying not to raise expectations I think many of us have drawn up lists possibly containing ten items of news we expect to hear or hope to. With the SCIB1 trial, and hopes of the MOD1 trial beginning by the end of H1 2020 and possibly the SCIB2 trial soon after those alone will feature highly, but it is the Glycans, TCR and antibodies that I look forward to hearing more on, those alone could well feature in a commercial deal first. Also looking forward to seeing a few faces again and a few new faces who have shared this BB for so many years. Always good to put a face on someone you have exchanged posts with especially going forward and also finding out many of those faces are pretty much in line with what you imagined they were like in real life, which gives a great opportunity to meet really decent people as so many are on this BB. News before the AGM always gives rise to what will be discussed and the only item of news I am hoping for is news that first patients have been dosed. Didn"t realise just how many things have to be done till reading Bermudas posts last week, and hoping in that period from April when Approval was given for the U.K. arm we have completed all the items mentioned down to a shortlist of patients, knowing even when their first doses are due. I just have the confidence in the BOD to think like that, some don"t, so lets see. No rights or wrongs just different opinions. Very glad we have Bermuda willing to post here again I find his detailed research so helpful. Easy to gloss over what needs to be done, his posts just make me thing more about it and timelines are often more realistic as a result. I feel many of the disappointments we feel have enimated from this BB giving timelines which are hopeful at best which leads to that feeling of frustration which many have felt. Something I have taken on board seriously.

Could be a very interesting week, with trades amongst our buyer and sellers, I do think more than just one seller has been off loading. Friday just before the close as ever a 100k buy was posted at 7.10, just 51k had been sold all day which gives in itself a few questions and I hope we see our buyer still hungry, our persistant seller done for now and see the bid rising to fill orders our buyer might have. Was that the reason only 100k were bought Friday? Could be, again lets see. So we ended on 50k for 6.952 and over 6.922 for over 215k, hoping to see that rise into the 7s this week, our buyer was very active between 8/9p. Waited an age for us to have a buyer, still waiting to have a buyer where the MMs are fighting for shares in a rising market.

So lets have a good pre AGM week, hoping we can reach 8p before AGM and with good news pass through 10p on our third attempt. Not unreasonable, a break through past 10p considering we were 3.60 would be great to see. Night guys, to a good one

Yes, just read it again, so hard to say though, I am sure Lindy can see the relevance of those studies better than us. I would have thought developing the perfect vaccine relies on taking on board a bit of info and research here and there, nearly impossible for us to join so many bits and pieces together.

Something I found interesting Ray, and we see it in so many shares. I posted the latest RNS from AGL during the week, simply because a few people here have a holding there and the share has interested me since I came into Scancell. We often talk of the disappointment of our share price and quite rightly so, although I do understand it now at least. AGL as we know have a diagnostic system for blood cancers in particular, and have IMHO had plenty of very positive RNSs over that period, but looking at the 5 year chart. I believe 5 years ago their SP reached just over a £1 and have traded between 50/80p largely in that time, even that RNS in mid week which I thought was very good, produced a small red day and they finished the week I think in the mid 60s.. maybe it is because the competition in that field has increased enormously during that time, but in so many shares the highs of 6/7 years ago have never been reached again. Considering Scancell was my first real investment in shares at the time I guess that period was something of a boom time in AIM shares? Anybody else feel that?

Oncimmune and Scancell Present Data on use of Autoantibodies in Predicting Response to SCIB1 Immunotherapy

EarlyCDT® demonstrates potential to predict disease recurrence

Nottingham, UK - 29 August 2017: Oncimmune Holdings plc (AIM: ONC.L), a leading early cancer detection company developing and commercialising its proprietary EarlyCDT® platform technology, and Scancell Holdings plc, ('Scancell') the developer of novel immunotherapies for the treatment of cancer, today announce the presentation of data on the use of Oncimmune's autoantibody technology to successfully predict disease recurrence in subjects undergoing SCIB1 immunotherapy for malignant melanoma. The data will be presented at the Cambridge Healthtech Institute (CHI) Immuno-Oncology Summit 2017 on August 29 2017.

The collaborative study, which also included a team at the University of Nottingham, developed a method using a panel of seven tumour associated autoantibodies to predict disease recurrence in patients with resected Stage III/IV melanoma treated with Scancell's SCIB1 immunotherapy. Whilst Phase I/II trials with SCIB1 have been highly encouraging, this additional information potentially enables the identification of patients prior to commencement of therapy who are most likely to respond to treatment in future clinical trials with SCIB1.

Geoffrey Hamilton-Fairley, Chief Executive Officer, commented: "This is the first of a number of companion diagnostics programmes we are undertaking, having shown with internal data that by using Oncimmune's autoantibody platform it is possible to differentiate patient responses to a range of cancer treatments. While validation on a larger data set is necessary, these results indicate that in this case it was possible to identify patients who are most likely to respond to Scancell's SC1B1 and thus further demonstrate the potential of our technology in this application."

Dr Richard Goodfellow, CEO of Scancell added: "If this preliminary data is confirmed in a larger clinical study, it has the potential to improve the design of future clinical trials using SCIB1 by selecting patients most likely to positively respond to our novel treatment and thereby increase the chances of a successful outcome."

Agree with that. Just made me think of what has come from our collaboration with Oncimmune, maybe one for an e-mail question to Lindy. Made me think of diagnostics because it is not rare to get a mis diagnosis of secondary cancer in the glands surrounding the lungs due to the Pet Scans picking up infections which do show red from the scan. It happened to me, thankfully!!

Inanaco, not sure by reading the posts whether you are discussing SCIB1, SCIB2 or Moditope. Asking because the relevance of all the glands surrounding the lung, the most concentrated area of glands in our bodies, particularly the thymus gland are the first glands where metastatis is generally found, and for some reason the thymus is the most common. Again is that the relevance of why the thymus is so difficult to stop the cancer spreading, simply because of the low avidity of any T-cells in that area

Interesting post Ray. It was explained to me after a pet scan, that actually showed activity in where the thymus gland used to function. My understanding was that in adulthood the thymus stops functioning. Is that the reason why there is such low avidity in the T_Cells around that? Again my understanding was the muscles there stop functioning?

That is a lot of shares being bought on a weekly basis during a period of very low volumes of PI trades, and the buying seemed to increase between 8/9p a few weeks back. Unfortunately we don"t know the order book, Friday it appeared the buyer could only get 100k shares at 7.10, I rather fancy hitting 8p pre AGM and again presuming the orders are there no reason to think our buyer will not continue as we pass 8/9p again.

Who knows with more good news, and on our third attempt double figures are there to be passed.

Sleep well guys, whilst I am sympathetic to some who are ""disappointed"" for different reasons, just remember our buyer isn"t, Vulpes aren"t and if that bid rises back to 7p Monday I think we have a new bull run cycle ready to run. All INHO, Goodnight.

Regarding BioNTech, Genentech and our TCR. Yes the £10m upfront per target is a reasonable figure to work on plus add ons.

I trust everybody has tought what a £20m payment to Scancell is worth to us at this stage. I t would fund our expenditure for at least two years and allow us to fund 2/3 trials from the Immunobody and Moditope platforms under development, allowing us to collect the data which would see us be able to charge top dollar for our assets.

The approval of the U.K arm to the SCIB1 Trial was reveived on 25th April, Vulpes took their stake early June, and would have known exactly the situation of the IND and the U.S.A arm. Regardless of holders opinions it did not interfere with the investment and since then if not a few weeks before a 1m or just short of that has been bought from the market. Intuition makes me feel the buyer is associated to the Vulped purchase, not Vulpes themselves, but on signing the deal, after five years of researh and a year of due diligence, cash flow would h ave featured prominantly in Vulpes equations. If indeed no commercial deal is signed to allow us to collate data Vulpes will have a plan already as to how we will be funded and mindfal of their 16.67& stake and protecting it.

As ever there are so many possibilities and scenarios involved but aren"t we the lucky ones to have a pipeline at an advanced stage to even negotiate over.

Returning to the U.K arm of the scib1 trial we have had since the 25th April to work through the list of to do Bermuda posted up and get a shortlist of patients on Keytruda, I believe with all the necessary angles covered and knowing when certain groups of patients will need their first doses of SCIB1 we have taken the only choice open to us, morally, to pull the american arm and ensure no patients are subject to delays. The words immediately to me mean this to be the case, patients now have names and it is my belief that Lindy has decided to go ahead on that basis for the best for all partied involved.

We can, and i am wishing Scancell ATB in this scenario, we have not delayed the trial any further as the Ichor and FDA issue is between those two parties, ot for us to comment on, but the one area where we are in control we have made a call which many were in fact suggesting, and I applaud them for the expediency in doing so.

This AGM to me has the components to be the most informative one yet, I urge as many holders as possible ti attend if they can, and from previous AGMS and understanding of timelines involved i have every confidence we will stick to the now, eager to hear the information we are given, and if then some want to go back to a few questions then lets do so later or after the Q & A. We will IMHO get alot of information we are crying out for, preceded by RNSs to discuss them, and from a PR perspective if we can dosing will be such great news to hear on the day.

As i pointed out in the RNS dated 25th April CH had ample opportunity to advise us even then of the necessity to receive the IND before the U.K. arm could start, for some reason he chose not to. Whilst your post was directed at the lack of information regarding the trial, the wider picture is the same with regards to communication and along with the RNS of 25th April that will be the second part of any discussion wth CH that of communication in general and how it can and must be improved.

Can you tell me Bermuda from other Bios you invest in or simply follow from your experience how Scancell compare when it comes to communication, it would be useful for me berore I brooch the topic. Many thanks, and for the information you shared today.

Who are you talking too?? We are discussing a comment allegedly made by Goosed and reposted here by Torquay Fan which I for one certainly objected too, as were a few posts directed at the alleged ""team ramp"" on LSE.

I cannot imagine you coming over here to condemn that post and teach us to suck eggs, it would be easier to ask Torquay Fan on the ADVFN BB not to peddle such nonsense from the ADVFN BB to here. Whilst doing that I would be very grateful if you took Torquay and Knowlesi back with you.

I fear you are talking at cross purposes to what Ruck posted to me, but pray do tell me the humans story and how his comments affect those in real life who have suffered from cancer and lost loved ones so special to us .

And just one MM movement all week, that being on Tuesday when SCAP went fromn7p to 6.80.

6.8125 was the lowest price MMs took for 300k, 7.33 for Retail PIS and 7.10 for our buyer from 7p. AFTER THE 100K buy level 2 remain unchanged, mmS Still taking around 500k and all looks on course for the same on Monday, a sideshow indeed. Grateful we have doubled, fibonicci retrace 50% on profit taking and whilst we are 7p just grateful to see somebody increasing their holding and I make that about 10/12m over 4 months. bought between 7 and 9p

No point including you Knowlesi in such a conversation, after all these buys are a figment of team ramps imagination, but Torquay can you not see what is happening, for a company deserving derisory questions as if they were idiots by people who do not know the half, and for all their love of the science ££the science will see us through"", lol, are perhaps missing all the sciences we are working on. Does it make you feel better to have no faith in the BOD, the same BOD who have taken us here and received many validations, and is it just possible they know how far they need to go to get maximum shareholder rewads? The Glycansand Mabs alone could fund us through Immunabody amd Moditope through many human trials whilst the company continues to grow, and for anybody concerned about the next raising of funds, does it not reassure you that Vulpes know exactly what is needed and when subject to no commercial deals pending data.?

I know for me all these things make me feel confident in my investment, to have Vulpes financial expertise on board is a game changer IMHO, and work of Lind and her team fill me with excitement, and we are still valued at just 34m to allow a seller out and a buyer in. Many reasons for selling, just the one for buying, so that is why i say we have a buyer rather than a seller. I do thimk largely the expectations and timelines have been more than what was possible at the time, but we seem to be arriving at a time when three major trials could be running together next year, adding the king, the data, with the Glycans And Mabs serious platforms in their own right. Lets get behing this BOD, show our appreciation for their efforts and not humiliate them with derisory comments. You gain respect by giving it, I give it to them a lot.

So at the end of a challenging week with emotions running too high, at times, and the small details of what angered us we will communicate. No 7p is not where we want to be, but it is double where we were, and as long as we have a serious buyer building i can deal with it for now. One day the sellers will want a heck of a lot more than 7p and the buyers will pay more as a result, and i dont think those days are that far off at all. Have a good un all.

Evening Ruck, I actually posted today the reason why I feel patients will be dosed by the AGM. iI agree immediately is now, and I feel we have the patients selected. We have had from April 25th, the date of the Approval to sort out the many items Bermuda mentioned in his post, and I feel patient enrolment was one of those items, a shortlist at least. That being the case these patients are stage 3/4 melanoma patients with a very poor prognosis and from the shortlist we would be able to dose them immediately, as in some cases the prognosis could be as short as 6-12 months.

All that arguing between me and Torquay which has gone on now for 3 years must stop, that was my point and I believe we should post a reason for an opinion. As Bermuda said to me he hopes I am right. I could well be wrong, but the posts this week are demeaning to the BOD. The approval was only given April 25th, so they would have had three months to deal with those items Bermuda posted. Once done IMHO they decided to wait no longer for the IND and decided at that juncture to start the U.K. arm.

So IMHO what the BOD did wrong was in the RNS of 25th April, not the last one.....................this part.....................

IMHO at this point Cliff Holloway should have said the trials had to start together. That will be the question I will ask CH at the AGM, why did you not just tell us then that? It would have saved so much speculation, and also IMHO it opens the door for anybody to question the validity of any future RNSs. That is a big avoidable shame, and for that we are entitled to feel disappointed.

Hope that explains to all, I am not defending the BOD, but i do feel they have used that time well and the trial has not been delayed by pontificating about the IND as implied or worse as Goosed suggested risking patients lives. I don"t believe Lindy would ever allow that.

SCIB1 has completed a Phase 1/2 clinical trial in patients with Stage III/IV malignant melanoma. In this study SCIB1 was shown to have a favourable safety profile with no dose-limiting toxicities and no serious adverse events related to study drug or delivery device. Survival with SCIB1 treatment appears superior to historical survival rates, with 14 of 16 resected patients receiving 2-4 mg doses surviving for more than five years (as reported in February 2018).



Although pembrolizumab is an approved checkpoint inhibitor therapy for advanced melanoma, response to treatment is limited to only a subset of patients (circa 30%). The Phase 2 study is therefore designed to assess whether the addition of SCIB1 treatment will result in an improvement in the tumour response rate, progression-free survival and overall survival in 25 patients with advanced melanoma who are also eligible for treatment with pembrolizumab. SCIB1 will be administered using Ichor's TriGrid® v2.0 electroporation delivery system.
