Some thing that wasn"t mentioned today, which surprised me was a statement from Cancer Research U.K. suggesting that since the advent of the virus and specifically timed from the lockdown up to 7500 diagnososis have been missed due to difficulty getting referal letters from GP Surgeries, a reluctance to visit hospitals and any other reasons.

Wildforce reminded us of this a couple of weeks back and the fact that one person dies every ten minutes around the world from cancers. We already know the serious impact that will be caused by trial delays and suspended trials, with little encouragemt that situation will change anytime soon. We do not have to be Pythagoras to work out the damage that will be caused in even six months time, and that is just in the field of Oncology, but has the same consequences in every other condition.

A frightening figure, and just one of a multitude of side issues that COVID 19 is causing. Dependant on the next few weeks/months it is just my opinion that the FDA might bring in steps to get trials starting as soon as is possible, imagine being in stage 3/4 cancer at a time like this, which does not include the tens of thosands who will not be able to catch their cancers as early as possible. That has been playing on my mind for a few weeks now and seeing those figures from CRUK made today a sad one for me, and I guss anyone who read the articles and have loved ones with cancer seemingly very restricted to the help they desperately need. A stark reminder too of what brought us here and the six million dollar question as to how badly Scancell are being hit by this situation.

With that firmly in my mind Torquay Fan and I reffereed to just how much the government have on their hands at this time and every passing day, was just one reason I pulled you up today, surely it as much imaginable as it is for me to truly comprehend the job they have on their hands and the responsibilities to so many which must weigh very heavily on their shoulders whilt finding themelve subject to a few million newly qulified scientists who know more than the entire scientific community around the world.

I was annoyed by the constant criticisms that I am reading here, and in any case there can be nobody on Earth happy at this time, not just unhappy but scared of what lies ahead for us all. As I said the other day would sure like to see Vulpes buying more here at around 5p, the share price rallied to 9.4p when they did before. ATB

Why not occasionally choose to read some of the remarkable things the Government have put into place in a very short period of time. Everybody was focusing on the lack of ventilators, now data is showing they are not the formidable shield to fight this virus. What are the Government meant to do?? Buy unlimited amounts of everything to treat any unknown disease before they even become apparant or do as every country is doing disecting data on an hourly basis in the hope of finding vaccine that will work.

Really not going to get involved with discussing this with you, you latch onto every bit of created news and post as if you knew that before the scientists did, what I have always said is I am happy to leave this to the scientists to work out a way of beating this. That has not changed one iota and tell me what makes you believe you know more than they do???

We are all in this together, what we don"t need is this constant assault on Government policy, dividing the nation, devisive and to whose gain, so you can say I told you so.??? Believe me there are so many factors taken into account before a Policy can become adopted, but you know that.

I choose to spend an hour before going to sleep asking my computer the questions that help me understand what is happening, not spending all day watching jumped up journalists creating news that might or not be the case.

Each to there own, but this constant negativity is damaging for all, why not believe in a higher power than yourself??

Absolutely. I was lucky this morning to see a programme on television at about 3 this morning outlining 32 companies and universities that the Government are funding in regard to that and it is reassuring that globally Governments are responding in the same way.

With all that information being shared globally every day, it is allowing everybody to react accordingly. I can"t even remember how much nonsense was reported about lack of ventilators, unfortunately everybody is paddling in unchartered waters, and it is back to ""time will tell"", and just maybe there are more than approach that help beats this monster that is paralising us all.
