Chester, every time I have gone to post something you have posted my thoughts exactly, really weird, and very grateful. I"m knackered!!!

And really excited for tomorrow and the next period of time, as Dalestar has posted too we have waited a very long time for something to excite us again, and yep I"m excited.

Goodnight guys, considering we had 547 trades on Friday and a 17m volume, tomorrow should be rather interesting. Just my opinion but with this RNS 8p looks cheap, without it 5.5p was looking a tad high, till tomorrow.

There seems to have been a big shift in scientists working on anti-bodies to determine whether somebody has had this virus.

There are so many possibilities coming from that RNS, expertise in anti-bodies is certainly in play, do you think e can play a major role in that sphere other than ""just a vaccine""??

Well firstly this is not just another of so many CV19 projects launching, as you said in the very previous post, quoting from David Evans.

ATB""".....................I would suggest rising 94% within 90 minutes of trading open might be miscontrued as lighting this flame!!!................and most importntly there are a few flames that this could well re-ignite, and pretty sure we are assured of getting ""another RNS"" well before funding is agreed and confirmed.

As i have said consistantly there are probably a few approaches given time that will work to varying degrees, as I am sure there might well be a few vaccines too for now, but this is not just about COVID 19 at all, but nother Platform with our Science written all over it. I would further suggest talks are underway at this stage, hence the release of Fridays RNS.

Excellent news Katnick, thought we might just get a good dose of press this weekend to give us a push and it seems like we certainly have so far, with a lot more to come IMHO.

Enjoyed your posts the last couple of days, particularly because you have been a LTH, very realistic over the years too, and it is just good to see you have been invigourated by Fridays news as many of us are.

Not getting involved with any share predictions, but the press we will get and interest of many, particularly in the scientific circles can only bode well for now. And surely it will reignite interest for when we need to do a raise. If nothing else it has given me a reason to wake up for in the mornings during these unprecedented times.
Along with a few others I speak to, I have always felt we have never enjoyed the best of luck at crucial times, just perhaps this a break we sorely needed.

540 trades in a single day, I haven"t seen that here before, and that delayed 500k buy at 8p from 15.19 odd was actually a 8/10% premium paid, the SP at the time was 7.20/7.30. Can honestly say for the first time in long I am looking forward to the week ahead again, we have had a few false alarms before but somehow this feels very different, and contrary to a few posts Friday (but not many) this is not all about COVID19, but opens up the possibilities for a vibrant fourth platform based on our scientific expertise.

Inanaco, presume you are reading the BB, would hope to see you posting about this and how you see it from a scientific perspective from what we know about Scancells capabilities. Ah, something new to research and very grateful for that.

We've spoken before about the amount of coiled up tension in all of Scancells platforms. This current drive towards a vast new platform in the control of human viruses could very well unleash the full technological worth of Scancells patents and approvals.

The poundland biotech may just be waking up. Key to it all is the funding.

How very true. Can"t even explain how good I felt seeing us open up 30% and racing on to 10p in very quick time, 540 odd trades and a 17m volume, something I don"t think we have seen for a very long time, if ever.

For so many years I used to focus on how the market had undervalued us, that has not been the case the last couple of years at all, and I am finding it a very good friend these days. The MMs tried a few times to move the SP up in the last 2 weeks by raising the ask to 5.50 whilst still taking many shares around 4.90/5, I was waiting for a very big buy, but the MMs seemed to have known this news was coming during that time, carrying on taking shares, and there was up to Thursday last week some 1.3m more sells than buys and we were up 2/3%. Seeing the RNS on Friday I think we can safely say that was why.

Still think we will see even more press tomorrow and the weeks ahead, and that is why I highlight chesters post, it has certainly raised our hopes here during a weird time, where the odds of good news were very small indeed.

And so to Monday, well I can get used to seeing the share 94% up every day, but just feel we are ready to break 10p next week. I took a bit of profit on my last £1500 trade, 22983 shares at 6.40 odd, taking £500 at 8.70, thats the fourth such trade this year, and still I have my core of 220k. One thing a few on here have taught me is to decide on your selling trade and stick to it regardless of whether you think it is going higher, and I kept to that stratagy to the £.

Well done to all of those who have been topping up in recent months, whether you have sold, top sliced or hanging on in. A particular welcome to all those who have joined us too. I highlight chesters post as I too think this will revitalise us on the three platforms, our quest for funding, all underlying the scientific genius of Lindy Durrant and I too feel that dependent on which way this ill wind goes with COVID 19 America through the FDA will be allowing cancer trials to restart well before end of 2020.

So enjoy your weekend as much as I am, boy have we waited a long time for such a potential scenario as we have now, and I think we just might be hearing a few regular updates on this in the weeks ahead. We are not just talking about COVID 19 here, but so much more. ATVB GN

What great news yesterday.

I would have thought plenty more press to come, which will only be of benefit to our three existing platforms, and wow there were 500 trades yesterday and a volume of 17m.

Well done to everybody here, no mindles ramp of Scancell being in the COVID 19 chase/race, we were all just privately hoping it would be possible.

I thought Cliff Holloway spoke so very well again to Andrew Scott, funding................this could change our whole dynamic.

Crumbs I think we were all hoping for such an RNS as today, without the ramping that goes with all such matters. It is credit to ourselves in that regard and now it is out we can dot the i"s and cross the ts.

It seems to have brought alive all our platforms at a time when we need it most. I can see a fair bit of press headlines to come from this and in any case it puts our name back into those shares discused and for me it has been a memorable week. A really pleasent birthday yesterday, another £500 succesful trade winging its way to my account, and back on the buyers hunt for the next succesful £500 trade.

Will sleep well tonight for sure, so many situations coming together again for our future excess, the rise today let a few people out, as many in, and I just get a good feeling which has been missing these last few weeks.

Hope you guys feel the same to varying degrees, and it always amazes me that those responsible for makimg the most noise have gone missing today, not a kind word to pass to one another, whats that all about??

To next week, further RNSs, press releases and the name Scancell recircling the rounds again, lets be grateful for small mercies I certainly am.

WTP don"t have regrets for top slicing I had pulled in 3 x£500 trade gains this year just trading 10/15% of my core holding. One that was sticking was 22938 I bought at 6.48, sold at 8.70 today it reached my target of another £500. Back in the market for another trade now, each to their own it seems to be working for me and clawing back a few losses from years gone by. GL

That was from your link WTP, won"t be long thought, expecting some weekend press on this.

Thanks for your posts today, informative and now you know why I often say to criticism that Scancell know more than we do. Great news for us today, it is one thing going through this terrible virus and another having our share in this hot sector. Great timing and could be just the boost we need to spark interest in all that we do.

Nottingham universities join hunt for Covid-19 vaccine

Scientists from the University of Nottingham and Nottingham Trent University are to work with UK biotech firm Scancell to develop a vaccine against Covid-19.

It is hoped the vaccine, created with processes already used in the development of anti-cancer drugs, will give a more potent and long-lasting response than others being worked on, as well as protecting against new strains of coronavirus in the future.
