According to Kashdog it is ramping to even discuss what might be our next news or even when??? But the same poster abuses anybody who has an experience of living with cancer, calls them attention seekers, whilst he goes on about his wealth, fitness, new yachts and all with a wife working in the NHS. Guess that is why so many decent people who still invest here will not post here anymore, and they are right.

Guys I think you all make a good counterpoint and moonparty be assured I haven\2t written off a return of many multiples at all.

For now though data will be the driver, we have come such a long way from where we begun, the failure rates must be the largest in these early stages we are now moving from proof of concept into it works in humans, another huge step. Approval and commercialisation will come after that which in itself is another huge move forward. Lets keep our feet firmly on the ground and thank you cc for your excellent post which answers cleanerworlds observations earlier this week.

Hold the faith guys, at the moment there is no reason not to, unless people see better opportunities and returns elsewhere.

Well said Bermuda , we have struggled for years to put a valuation on Scancell, but I think on the cusp of getting early data from our lead platforms we will get a better idea than we have now.

For me I am sticking to what I see as a realistic figure of 50p, dependant on information to hand, and I think for many of us that would triple our investment,

Morning cleaner world, as Konar read it is how it was meant. So sorry I do make grammatical errors especially when I come out of hospital they double my doses of morphine. Like me we all go through patches where our confidence is high or when frustration takes a hold.
As I said your posts are enlightening and I am pretty sure when we start to get media write ups you will find them.

Just wanted you to know that it has been largely your posts that have caught my eye this past year and given me confidence in what we are doing. You have demonstrated just how much thought has gone into Covidity, every angle seems to have been covered and we have never been so close to outstanding results as we are now. As C11 pointed out there have been a couple of items of news these past few months but it does feel forever waiting for updates.

I am sure it wont be too long until we get updates on all platforms, as is normally the way.

Morning Wild, pretty much what I said yesterday and each to their own. Patience is still the key, and you make the most relevant point, there is no short cutting news and the news will follow its course.

All the same I had high hopes for this week following the day where the volume hit 2.5m and the 700k buys at 14p, but hey it wont be the last time we get high high hopes and hopefully not too long for good news

Yep, and 13.25/13.50 close -4.12% on the day. Still the volume was just 550k today, a far cry from the 2.5m where we felt something was in the air.

As the volume will tell us there is no significant sell off with about maybe 240k in buys above the closing SP. IMHO there is nothing to suggest that a few decent buys will not take us back to the 14p mark, and if the bid has fallen to get any real quantity of shares that has not transpired, today at least.

I am really enjoying an imposed 6 week bed rest which is giving me an opportunity to catch up on a few things I have slipped behind on, so here"s to tomorrow and see how we end the week.

WTP, the last couple of Vulpes buys, like other Director buys I guess, were reported mid morning the following day and we are obviously well past that.

It is Covidity news that I feel is due soon, and whilst in hospital last week i could see for myself that from the UCLH being a Covid free hospital, the 8th and 9th floors are now full of Covid patients and the intake is growing by the day. Has there ever been a time where a Universal Vaccine has been so needed? I could see it with my own eyes and found conversations with doctors more than promising for our own candidate.

Of course the scope for news is much wider, I have learnt to be patient waiting for it, and there is something in no news being good news that I feel is most relevant. Either way have felt a few uncomfortable moments with SCLP a few months back but that has changed for me, I haven"t sold any or bought any this year (I think) so going with my 180k as far as time and money allows.

Badsterman, I just read this BB occasionally and your post was interesting. It seems in recent years that a it takes more than a decent RNS to see the gains we were once used to.

VAL often surprises me with good rises on standard RNSs to me it is an unusual share in what drives it.

No expert here at all but on that basis the SP seems worth a punt, or is it the case that promises no longer have the desired effect, a deal is needed not promises that never materialise.

I often wonder what makes people think VAL are so close to commercialisation, like my own choice of investments Scancell too are way off commercialisation but in 4 clinical trials, so the scope for news is immense.

For different reasons I think both shares can show a decent return at current levels and I wish you good luck in your choices.
