Tremendous BB yesterday, so many interesting posts, and Bermuda that was my question about Redmile, appreciate your reply.

A pleasent couple of days here in London, after 9 days around 100 degrees and 75% humidity, we have settled for around 23 but no sun but it is cool and sultry and liveable in. May it remain, it was too hot for everybody.

So most subjects covered for me this weekend, Two dates for our diaries next week, and I still fancy news any day. lets have a positive week.

Just read your post, a good post, but e have different political views which is fine, but best left off BBs. It is the reason I didn"t watch any news channels or newspapers since the lockdown, I am just interested in what is going on, what they will do, not what should have happened, it is a bit like retrospect which comes out here often ""if only""

But since watching Al Jazera News the last week and taking into account someone elses opinion, different to mine, I enjoy the way they eliver news, global news, with no political motive (that I have noticed).

Respect your opinion but I disagree. By atching a broad spectrum of global news, there are many countries in far worse positins than us, not just coronavirus. In fact we hardly get a mention as other news elsewhere is so horrific, but more than that I wouldn"t wish on anybody the job the Tories have had to deal with, of course errors were made we are only human. I just don"t believe Corbyn and Diane Abbot and co could have handled this vaguely better. But as is yours, that is just my opinion. In any walk of life every situation in retropect would have been diffrent, perfection doesn"t xist and boy they hve made so many decisions. Hopefully with the COVID 19, situation it will show compared to the rest of the world we are handling this better for now than many others. And BJ had the virus, very seriously, I just think you are a being a bit harsh IMHO.

It would make sense to invest £100m in 25 different cures though, a small price if alse fails and as some are quick to remind us, there are no gurantees here. ATB

Never had that kind of cash before, Redmile must have been convinced we are financed accordingly to turn clinicl studies into patient data??

And talking of COVIDITY I am still to hear anybody discuss vaccines in trials as anything more than ""hopeful"". I just wonder whether in the absence of funding Scancell could buy out the interests of our 2 partners and go it alone, with their help, and bonus add ons to turn it into reality?? Just perhaps with any expected income from Avidimab that will be something we can vote on at the AGM?

Considering the Government are committing in excess of £1b to a cure and future vaccines £3/4m seems a drop in the ocean for a potential vaccine supported by data and five year survival from the SCIB1 original mono trial.

Seems a no brainer to me.

Well I have chosen ""strong buy"" again, simply because I do believe that any news will propel us north, and we are perfectly poied for an attack on double figures. In the next week or two we have Lindy speaking at one conference and CH at another. Could someone provide links for both conferences so we can tell which is which.?? Good to feel proactive again, be interesting to see any news released from Scancell before each event which I am still hopeful of.

Had a great day yesterday, was out with my first true love for the day, elt like a human being again since she married an ex friend of mine 38 years ago. Two years seperated now and not enough hours in the day to laugh, reminiscence and catch upbut loving every minute doing stuff I just can"t do by myself.

So my Pet Scan was on Wednesday, results following day, but not a word Thursday/Friday as has happened before. They have a multi disciplanary meeting Monday half day, oncologists, radiologists etc discussing cases like mine, and after they draw lots some poor bugger will have to phone me!!! come Tuesday/Wednesday next week. One of the reasons I enjoyed yesterday so much, no time to think about it.

So onto next week, yeah I fancy news, and would like nothing more than to see us soar past 10, presume I am not the only one, have a great weekend.

Cooler here in London, but still too humid oh well just good to feel happy again, it is priceless. ATVB.

The government have to plan for the worst even if they are hoping for the best. There is no guarantee that SCIB1 will be successful.

Of course there is no guarantee, I nly know one person who has ever suggested there is no risk!!!!!
