Broke my heart on my Wednesday coming back from UCLH in Central London on Wednesday evening.
I hadn"t been out for nearly three weeks but driving back through Cambden Town and Camden market , my favourite area I counted 54 empty properties and the bustle had gone as had the market vendors. People are saying the West End Area will be empty of shops in the next 10 years or so, and a major residential buildings, of which there are many now already, will be the norm. Office space will eventually move too en masse, as a direct result of changing work conditions and more people working from home.
After boycotting news channels and media from the lockdown because of political reasons I have settled for Al Jazeera News, no political bias, it is global news, we hardly get a mention for simple reasons, the criseses in Lebanom, Brazil, Belarus, China, Thailand, Taiwan,Russia and Europe to name a few are far more dire, news worthy. Worth a watch, it makes our problems seem trivial from a human aspect.
