A statement with some substance behind it I would suggest.

Yet more evidence for those needing it, that the post suggesting “little growth” was complete nonsense.

“Results for the first quarter to 31 July 2023 were in line with our expectations, reporting double digit growth in both revenue and adjusted profits.”

Acquisitions performing well and per management expectations.

Happy to wait for December Results but suggest we close that debate now.

Sorry if I’m being thick but can you help me understand what any connection between J Van Tam, Moderna & Scancell has been established and communicated and also why that means news must be coming?

Do you not think the AIM performance figure stated, could possibly by skewed by outliers? It doesn’t mean that the vast majority of AIM shares are level pegging. Nor does it mean that some haven’t suffered more than others, without accompanying, solid rationale.

In the July Pipeline Update, Scancell stated this (I have added some Caps for effect):

“Scancell has developed a novel technology platform for producing monoclonal antibodies that recognise glycans with high specificity and affinity. The platform has generated revenues and the antibodies continue to yield COMPELLING results which have led to a new 6-month evaluation by a leading Biotech company.”

Well we don’t know when that 6 mths actually started but most of us will know that 6 minus 2 is 4 :-) and so 4 is the absolute maximum time to go.

Surely this must be one of the reasons why Mandeep Sehmi chose to join the Company ie. she agrees with “COMPELLING”.

And this is the only AIM share where the SP is in the doldrums for no very obvious reasons? I think not.

Would you rather invest / remain invested / top-up / sell, based on what the Company said in the 31/07 RNS, or what can be read on the Macmillan Forum? I know which I would choose (with no intent whatsoever of diminishing impacts on individual patients).

31/07:

Prof Lindy Durrant, Chief Executive Officer, Scancell, commented: "This is an important milestone for the Company as we now have approval to treat patients with Modi-1 monotherapy or in combination with a CPI in four different tumour types either pre- or post-tumour resection. The information extracted from this study will be invaluable in defining the patient population that will benefit the most from our cancer vaccine, Modi-1."

The Company expects further safety, immunogenicity and efficacy data to be available in 2023.

We also know the Milan Conference update is now just a couple of weeks away.

Must admit, I laughed out loud when I read that ftse. Suggest you rewind the exchange to remind yourself of who had the blinkered view and who was challenging that view! His/her view is that acquisitions were & are are distraction and the company shows little growth. Both proven to be completely wrong when the July Results were issued and both will be double underlined as entirely wrong when the next set of results are issued. He/she refused to accept what was in print from the company and he/she even went to the trouble of asking for posts to be deleted, to cover that up! Then he/she was apparently right behind the company and long (again transparently posted for all shareholders to see here), only to sell up a week later. Hardly trust inspiring stuff from a poster, is it?

Can’t see how his/her absence from the board will make a jot of difference, other than to remove the untrue & unwarranted bleating about acquisitions being a distraction and little growth. Let the forthcoming results confirm who has called this right and only that will end the debate.
